Today heaven gained another angel 🐶🪽

Bella was the sweetest little pup. It was always a good day when I got to take care of her and her brother, Hershey. I remember taking her outside when it was snowing and making sure she was all bundled up in her coat and then stuffed her inside my coat because she hated the cold, but she would enjoy being held and barking at anyone who got near us. Honestly, it was the best thing ever to have a tiny guard dog around. Then we’d come back inside and she’d bat at me to pet her until she was love drunk and then fall asleep snuggling beside me. 🥰

The last time I saw her, I had given her reiki and didn’t know what to expect. I received an image of a snake, but thinking that they were moving down south where snakes are more of an issue, I just told her mom to be more aware of snakes especially with her size. Snakes are also a spiritual sign of transitions and with her moving, it made sense to me. Now, I realize that perhaps the symbolism was deeper than that. Maybe spirit was trying to tell me that she was going to transform into a new form during the year of the snake. Sometimes, when I receive messages/images, it’s not always clear on what spirit wants to convey.

Last night, without even knowing what was happening, I sent her reiki. I have a reiki box of people and animals that I periodically send reiki to (with their permission). I saw her name inside and I said, “I love and miss you, Bella. I hope you’re doing well.” Little did I know that I was going to receive the news the very next day of her passing. My hope is she received the reiki and it helped ease her transition. I’m glad she is no longer suffering, but man, grief sucks 💔

I care so much for my animal friends and losing them always breaks my heart. We really don’t have a lot of time with them, but I’m grateful for every moment I got to spend with them.

You will be missed so much, Bella ❤️
You will forever be loved and I hope to connect with you soon. I love you so much, rest easy sweet girl ❤️

I believe that every animal that enters our lives, ALWAYS has lessons for us to learn. But they also learn from us. And it’s not just dogs, any animal that you are most drawn to has the capability ❤️

Animals have the capacity to save lives. And I know this because mine save my life every day. No matter how hard or unbearable life can get sometimes, a purring fur baby on my lap always makes it better ❤️

I love animals more than anything in this world and I’ll be honest, I have to hold myself back from introducing myself to every person who walks their dog 😅

To the people who say “Animals are not family,” please don’t ever contact me for pet care because pets ARE family.

They’re my chosen family. Shadow and Misty are apart of my daily life. Their cute faces get me through the darkest of days and I am blessed to have them. My clients’ animals also become like family to me. I enjoy taking the time to figure out their quirks and what motivates them and what makes them feel the most loved 🥰

I have an immense amount of gratitude for being able to do this type of work. I appreciate every single person who’s given me a chance to care for their animals. I love them all so much!!! 🥹❤️

PS: Please give your fur babies extra scratches for me 🙏🏼

Please remember that if it’s cold for you, it’s cold for your pups!
I understand some pups like huskies LOVE this weather, but they shouldn’t be out for too long because they can still get frostbit or worse. 🥶

Frostbite can occur in as little as 15 to 30 minutes with wind chills this cold. If you think that's too cold for you, then it's too cold for pets, too. Bring them inside this week.

I can’t believe 2024 is ending already. It honestly felt like we just started it.
Time surely does fly.

Tonight, I’m just hanging out with Shadow & Misty until we all decide it’s bed time (which might be soon 😅).

I want to give a BIG thank you to everyone who helped support my small business this year!

Here’s a comic to brighten up your day ⭐️

This was my first year ever having a tree higher than a foot. I was nervous my cats would climb it. My Misty loves hiding behind it. And it wasn’t until I left them to do an overnight for a client, that I came back to the tree on its side. And all I could do was stare at the tree and go, “Well, lasted longer than I thought it was going to.” Nobody was hurt and nothing broke, thankfully! I couldn’t be mad because I get it. I hate being away from them, too.
