A sturdy, well-made cat tree will last your cat's lifetime. Although a tree may initially seem like an expensive purchase, it's an important part of your cat's environment and territory. When shopping for a cat tree, look for one that is very sturdy, has wide perches that will be comfortable for your cat, and has enough perches so a less mobile cat can still access the top perch by climbing on the lower ones. When shopping for cat shelves and other elevated options, always choose sturdy, wide ones that can be firmly installed.

Fun little toy to make your kitty happy after their groom.

I am very proud of this cat owner. She has chosen to maintain the cat at a shorter length, where there will be less shedding and less matting, and hopefully, this kitty will not ever have to have a lion clip again. She is not a good candidate for the cycle of shave down to shave down.

My Story

You must love what you do when you have been doing it as long as I have. I love cats...I have always loved cats. I currently foster Momma Cats and babies for a local rescue. Dogs were always a huge part of my life, but working with the rescue has opened my eyes to the needs of the cats of the world. Cats need grooming. They do not groom themselves. I have groomed cats all my career, but never with the quality I do my dog clients. I have taken steps to rectify that. I am learning show quality cat grooming to offer to the cats of Albany County.

UPDATE 9/19....I completed my certification for cat grooming and can proudly say I am the areas first Certified Feline Master Groomer (CFMG), through the National Cat Groomers Institute. It was a difficult 2 year journey and I am very proud of this accomplishment and what I can bring to the cats in the Albany area.

Education is key because most cat owners are unaware of what the needs are of the kitty in their household. I am here to help. My state of the art mobile grooming salon will come to your home and solve the matting, shedding, smelly cat problems, with the least amount of stress and discomfort as possible for all involved.
