**UPDATE** 2 of our fabulous fosters were able to figure out a way to bring Stormy into their homes temporarily so we will hold off on Florida for now. Thank you everyone for your support. Share Stormy and let’s get her the perfect home!!*****
These aren’t the best pictures of Stormy. That’s because she’s absolutely miserable, confused, depressed, nervous, and completely shut down.
Stormy was just returned to us after being adopted as a puppy. She completed puppy training classes and passed her puppy S.T.A.R. AKC test.
Two dna tests were done on Stormy in which her DNA came back not to be what was listed on her adoption paperwork. Let’s be clear- we are transparent and put in our contract that we cannot guarantee breed!!! Regardless, the adopter didn’t feel with her breeds she was equipped to make it work with Stormy.
When Stormys (former) owner left, Stormy tried to pull after her. It was heart wrenching.
We just don’t get it. Stormy is so shut down here we are deciding to send her to Momma T in Florida for some special TLC and farm freedom, hoping she can decompress better there.
Please, please if you’re going to adopt a rescue, think about your decision and what you can offer these dogs. Don’t make them disposable. Don’t judge them based on breed.
