The Lucky Puppy Rescue LPR is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue in Bonifay, FL, with an adoption center in Argyle, NY. We take in approximately 1000 dogs a year.

All dogs are completely vetted and socialized in hopes of finding forever homes. The Lucky Puppy Rescue is located on a 125 acre family farm in Bonifay, Florida. When new rescue dogs are brought in they are welcomed and cared for in a clean and secure kennel. Our Great Beginnings adoption center is a 15 acre property in Argyle, NY. Days begin in FL with an early morning walk through a combination

of woods and pasture and trails. The dogs have ample opportunity for exercise and quite often complete these walks with a splash and swim in the pond. There are lots of chances for quiet naps throughout the day. Usually before doggie dinner is served there is another long walk about the farm to finish off the day. Founder, Teri Mattson will tell you that when she is walking with the pack and watching them play, she often feels that she is the "Lucky" one in this rescue!

It never ends! 😭 We try our very best for these pups but parvo has struck again. This sweet litter called the 7 Dwarfs have been rushed down to Operation Spay Bay to get treatment! Please pray for them... and us!

Attn Florida: We need your help, and quiet homes!
We are going to start heartworm treatment for these sweet dogs and they are searching for forever homes... but will settle for foster homes.
If you are interested in adopting one of these kind souls, we will sponsor their treatment through Operation Spay Bay!

If you can't open your homes then please consider donating to the cost of their treatments.
Once they are heartworm negative they will go to NY and get adopted in a heartbeat!

We are loving our concrete coating by Deese Elite that was added on to our Momma Gia building! This seals our concrete and allows for a much more sanitary area for our young pups.
