Broken to Beautiful AKA Bubba! 🐕 Bubba is one tough ! 💪 He was found at a gas station construction site; malnourished, smelly, and deformed. Barely walking, Bubba still greeted his rescuer, Terra with a happy demeanor and a wagging tail. Bubba was taken to the emergency vet and suggested to be humanly euthanized. Terra knew in her heart Bubba had a chance to be saved.
Her friends at Lucky Tails suggested she take Bubba to Dr. Hanson at NVC, where she learned Bubba had a “fracture of the femoral head and the hip was also dislocated. Large traumatic wounds on the tongue and shattered molars on one side, and lateral side of the face.
He also had bite wounds all over.” Bubba needed two surgeries to repair his injuries. Had his first surgery the next day and a second, when he was strong enough. After surgery, he was in medical boarding at NVC for two weeks and then in TLC care at Foxmoor Pet Care to get to his full recovery. After receiving long-term companion care from The Texas Dogfather, Bubba is ready to be with his new family!
