SBC Feline Spay and Neuter Help Southern Brazoria County Feline Spay and Neuter help. I'm a long time BC resident. I would like to help people get their cats spayed or neutered. Sad!! 🐱

We are so overpopulated that the stray cats here probably out number the owned cats here! A few months back I was made aware of the problems facing our community and I am just wanting to help. With the economy being so poor and the cost of everyday living being so high it is really hard fitting in the cost of have a cat or kitten spayed or neutered. This is were I am hoping to make a difference. I

have reached out to an organization in Houston and for right now they are letting me bring cats and kittens in to be spayed or neuter at no cost. I do not know how long this will last but as long as they are letting I will continue. The service is itself is free but I need donations to continue to do this.

Picked up this turtle in the middle of the road the other day. Only traffic was too heavy to help her continue her journey across the busy road( always place them in the direction they were traveling) so I decided to finish my errand and on the way back drop her off. So I go into the house come back out and find her in the passenger seat ready to go!! Lol

Our next mass spay/neuter event is April 13 in the Aldine area of Houston. Volunteers are needed for setup on Friday April 12 plus shifts all day April 13.

CRAZY BT TRUE!!! Not so fun fact. Female kitties can get pregnant as young as 4 months!!

Seems crazy but it’s true! Cats can have up to 5 litters per year. That’s why it’s important to spay/neuter cats.

Even if you have a house cat, it’s easy for them to slip out the door and return pregnant.

For community cats aka stray cats, ask your local shelter about Trap/Neuter/Return programs. The shelter will provide traps and fix the cats for free, then release them back to the community. This keeps 🐱 population down and lets cats keep the 🐀 in check!
