Picked up this turtle in the middle of the road the other day. Only traffic was too heavy to help her continue her journey across the busy road( always place them in the direction they were traveling) so I decided to finish my errand and on the way back drop her off. So I go into the house come back out and find her in the passenger seat ready to go!! Lol

CRAZY BT TRUE!!! Not so fun fact. Female kitties can get pregnant as young as 4 months!!

Seems crazy but it’s true! Cats can have up to 5 litters per year. That’s why it’s important to spay/neuter cats.

Even if you have a house cat, it’s easy for them to slip out the door and return pregnant.

For community cats aka stray cats, ask your local shelter about Trap/Neuter/Return programs. The shelter will provide traps and fix the cats for free, then release them back to the community. This keeps 🐱 population down and lets cats keep the 🐀 in check!

😾42% of microchipped pets were not registered in a pet recovery service 🙄
😲😲35% of registered pets were not recovered because of incorrect or missing contact information 😭😿🙎‍♀️
😲🤯17.2% of registered pets were not recovered because their owners registered them in a database different from the microchip manufacturer.

If I took your cat to get fixed please make sure you have them registered! If you need help, just let me know!

Microchips don't help with every missing pet but I think their odds are way better if they end up in a shelter somewhere.

🐩🐩🐩💔💔🐶Rehoming Post 🐶💔💔🐕🐕🐕

Something that totally bothers me. I see post everyday about someone rehoming their animals. Every time I see these post I know the comments are going to be ugly. You are not going to change the persons mind! Especially by being ugly. This person has more than likely debated over it for a while. It probably wasn't well s**t I am bored think I'll give my dogs away today.
Yes, I do know that the human no matter how s**tty is that dogs whole world! I do know that the dog loves and adores their human. I have 2 big babies and would live on the streets with them before living my life without them for any reason. Don't believe me ask people about when Diesel vanished! If I am home my dogs are within a few feet of me at all times! Right now Diesel is using my foot as a pillow and Piper is maybe 3 feet from me.
I have a good suspicion that the dogs that are tossed out under the bridge or on a farm road is there and not in someone elses house or yard or maybe a foster or a rescue because when they went on FB looking to rehome their dog they were attacked. No one likes to be attacked especially when they already having a difficult time. Besides if the human doesn't want the dog anymore why would you want them to keep it? No telling how that dog would be treated.
My mom always told me if you didn't have anything nice to say just keep your mouth shut! That is pretty good advice. Scroll on!
I see the post I typically do not comment but I just tell myself that that dog is going to find a better home their furever home that is purrfect for them and move along and pray a few days later I don't see the post about this dog that was dumped at the boat ramp.

Feel free to share your thoughts. Ideas. Suggestions.

Maybe with your help we can put together a list of rescues and offer that to people wanting to rehome the furbaby. Cat or dog.
