Buddy is a chihuahua and possible terrier mix who stole the hearts of his new mama and daddy. Rescued by the Arni Foundation from the Ft. Walton Beach Area.

JoJo is a pit mix who was an abandoned pup in Palatka and a bit love bug. Buddy was rescued from a shelter in the Florida Panhandle shorlty after he arrived there by a wonderful transport volunteer. His intake paperwork said he was a owner surrender, however I feel that he had a wonderful home at some point as he knows basic commands, is housebroken, and absolutely loves his daddy and is drawn to

people with grey hair. I feel that maybe his owner either got sick or passed away and someone brought him to the shelter not knowing it was a kill shelter. Please remember this is just what I think. I don't know exactly what happened before his arrival at Arni. He was a mess when he arrived at Arni, itchy and missing a lot of hair due to environmental allergies and flea allergies but he had hope in his eyes. After our pit bull, Heaven passed away Arni asked me to foster him and that was all she wrote. I took him to the vet and we began treating his allergies, first with food and antihistamines but when that didn't work we moved up to Apoquel. Since then he has been very comfortable and now his hair is growing in and he looks like a whole different doggie.

JoJo with Run-N-Paw and their mobile treadmill ❤️

Run-N-Paw came today to give JoJo a lil exercise and he enjoyed it! I’ll post video when I get it. I also got Leilani a comfort bed which she liked for a hot minute and is now back in her recliner and Buddy is super comfy in it.

Run-N-Paw has a mobile treadmill in their super cool (also air conditioned) van which is manually controlled by your pooch. Jo was hesitant at first but enjoyed it after he got used to it.

Putting the hammock bed together about drove mama crazy and worse non of us would lay on it. Finally JoJo is enjoying it tonight and I’m snuggling up to sissy. And then I decided I like my lil brother more.

Some pup got a bath today… with the amount of hair I brush off her, using a shedding tool outside and the amount of hair between all 3 that I vacuum up I could make 2 more of her every week.

Her delta airlines approved carrier arrived and she’s been in it twice already. It has a pop up top for in the waiting areas that adds a lil more room. Now just gotta figure out when we’ll go yo Texas.

I found that Buddy had a tiny mole on his head about 3 years ago, it recently took on a huge growth spurt… I’ve been concerned but now it bleeds, a lot. Doc is concerned about it but also concerned about putting him under to remove it. We’re trying a topical medication and recheck in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed, prayers too.
