Once besties always besties!

Same stall, same spot, same position, just a few years difference. Eevee and LD have been good buddies from the moment they met as juvies. LD came home last week after a couple of months away getting bred and they picked up right where they left off! (Don't let Eevee's face fool you, she was mad I didn't have a treat for her)

Iris has kept us on our toes since she was born at almost 4 weeks premature. She needed extra care for that first week and had to live inside out of the cold. Her mom unfortunately did not have milk either so she is fully on a bottle. She definitely had a rough start but she has a strong fight in her and once she passed those first few hurtles she has been thriving ever since! She's put us through a lot of firsts but has ultimately given us more experience and knowledge to become better breeders moving forward.

Iris is a paternal sister to our national champion junior herdsire, CVL Can't Wait to be King, so we are pretty excited to see how she grows. Although, I might be even more excited to give her a go in performance come show season!

This boy has been absolutely phenomenal and growing so fast. He was already 220 lbs before he hit one year old! Definitely makes me wonder where he'll end up as an adult😅

LD came up open this summer so I decided I'm going to bring her out to show performance again for the last show of the year before we try breeding her again. Can't wait to get her back out!❤️

Syrah weighed in at 443 lbs today and is still over a month and a half out from her due date (based on her last breeding). She's always been a big girl and this baby is just adding to that heft!

Breeding season is almost here and with it comes the excitement of choosing who to breed to who! We have decided to give Simba a chance this year as he is showing a strong interest in the girls already. This pair will be different than any other we've done before with JDL Magnolia's Pretty Baby, so we're interested to see what she can do with Simba!

We're pretty excited to have Eevee ultrasound confirmed pregnant to Coaty's Maiyan Calendar ARR for a Spring 2025 cria! This will be Cal's first! He is owned by Aspen Rayne Ranch
