Help is Needed.

CPPI just celebrated our 19th year of funding spay/neuter programs in many poor, rural NC counties. One of the counties has recently lost their only veterinarian so in order to continue, we must transport dogs and cats to clinics outside the County. Unfortunately, we need to find a used, transit van (any make, model) in good running condition and at a good price. If anyone has one they would like to donate, we are happy to provide a tax donation receipt at we are a 501c3. If you have any contacts, please email [email protected].

Tessa Padgett posted on Hendersonville, NC today the following: i’m willing to pay $250 to anyone who can help me find my dog! either someone has him or he’s out there still, any leads help! i live off of oleta road in dana of hendersonville, nc. my dog went missing 9/1/24 we put him outside on the tieout for awhile and inbetween the hours of 11am-3:30pm he managed to unhook himself with the tieout connected to him still. he’s a miniature husky mix. i just want my baby dog back. please help me bring my baby home!!!!!

Our Maple will probably show back up just as sure as I post this, but I hate not to. She’s been loose for 2 days and we don’t hear her anywhere. There have been numerous bear sightings, and I’m hoping she’s just on one and that’s the reason she hasn’t returned. Just putting this out there to see if she’s been on anyone’s game cam or if someone has her, please give me a call. Her collar came off , so she won’t have one on. And, as most know; these Walkers look thin as they’re high energy hunting dogs and not the sitting in the house type. We live in Penrose. 828-702-5715. Thank you

Our fluffy guy hasn't been home for a few days (since Sunday 30th of June) It's not terribly unusual because he is an outdoor/indoor, but its getting a bit too long for our comfort. His name is Figarro, he is an adult, and has a meow like a kitten. If you happen to see him, please lmk! (We live on N rugby for context) Thanks! Emily Lyng posted on Hendersonville site. Chelsea Lynn Meyers posted on Hendersonville NC site the following Help! (I know this isn't a missing pet site) Our girl Bella, is missing. She is indoor and outdoor but got into a rift with a large orange cat yesterday morning and since hasn't been found. We've been out calling and looking for her with no luck and this is very unlike her! We're in Etowah, (Maplewood development) by the park!!

Update on the quest of finding Leon:
As per expert advice ( thank you Michelle Rene),I’m walking a big circle of 3 miles radius, center of dog run from which Leon took off ( we should have better fence, he broke it so easily)
I’m spreading a mixture of sardines /tuna/ my urine/ oil( to retain smell)/ water.
Every 10 steps- 10 drops.
It’s going slow. I need to cover 18 miles. Terrains are not easy. To walk a few yards in high up piled debris takes time. Some cliffs are dropping very quickly.
Skye, Leon’s daughter, walks with me.
I should not have used megaphone to call Leon. Apparently, it might do the opposite.
We live on the Blue Ridge Parkway, 1.5 miles south from Crabtree Falls.
If anyone in this beautiful area, please join us. Woods are empty, eerily empty.
We will not give up hope.

He has a camouflage collar with a red ID tag on him. Last seen in the rosman nc area. If anyone sees him please call me ANYTIME. I'm so worried about him. He is an unaltered 1yo Australian shepherd. Please help me find our boy.

Found near Turkey Pen Gap on 280 near the county line. Sweet female pup, blue collar, no name or phone. Well-behaved, but extremely hungry! We have her safe at our house until owner claims her.

Hi. This guy's name is Draco. He is very friendly and loves everyone, and he really loves food. But the little guy has a condition where if he eats dry food he can't p*e and it can become life threatening. He didn't come home last night. So if he's hanging out with you, he's chipped, got all his shots, and he cannot eat dry food. If you see him, if you'd say hi and send him on his way. Thanks.

Animal Lovers -- It is with sadness that I must share with you that the animal world has a lost an amazing Shelter Director Dani Bowen. Dani (far right) has passed away from injuries from a car accident as the result of a drunk driver. CPPI has worked with Dani for 6 years and she and her staff at the Warren County Animal Shelter has done an amazing job in saving the lives of so many animals who would have otherwise died. Please keep Dani's family, husband and the shelter staff in your prayers as they mourn this sudden and tragic loss. Dani will be missed. Mary Cervini-President/Founder - CPPI
