Wildfires are ravishing and families and animals are suffering. We've received many calls for help and have decided to do our best. What's needed are supplies, animal feed.
Below is an Amazon list of things being requested, please pick an item or two from the list to help. Shelters are above capacity and evacuated animals need a safe place. We will be helping any shelter that has fire victims, along with temp holding facilities for livestock.
Monetary contributions are needed as well to help with fuel cost of delivering supplies to affected areas.

Hi everyone, this is Amy.
The pictures below are why we ask for help. The owners of these animals have all been charged with violation of LA RS 104.2 Cruelty to animals.
We, as a team, try very hard to handle cases as they come in. Sometimes we just can't due to funding being completely exhausted and outstanding bills overwhelming.
If you decide that you would like to make a contribution to keep up the fight against cruelty, please do.
Animals are suffering and need a voice, together, we can remain that voice. Every penny helps tremendously.

The cattle case is still ongoing, there were some set backs and weather also created issues. We are in line to get them moved in the next few days.
They are still being fed by our team.

The cattle Rescue has been postponed
until next week. We had it set up for tomorrow morning but just can't do it. We are hopeful we can complete this seizure next week. Funding is an issue as of now.

We need to worm the cattle prior to them leaving to go to their new home.
Can you help us do that? We would gladly purchase and do it but after buying almost $700.00 in hay, that is not an option we can afford now.

The cattle have been surrendered and will be heading to safe pastures where they will thrive.

Seizure day is getting closer in the cattle case. We have a home for all of them together. A very big Thank You to the 5 people that donated to help us with this case.
Unfortunately once we get them moved, we will be stopping our investigations for a while so that we can recoup our personal funds and figure out how we can continue. Two of our team members have given their all to ensure these 20+ cattle survive and are placed in an environment where they can strive.
Thank you all for the help and the many years of saved animals, it's truly been a wild ride.

The cattle case is still moving forward and we expect a seizure next week. They continue to be fed daily.

Unfortunately, this will be the last case we take on for a while. Please report all cruelty to local police, animal control or Louisiana Dept. of Agriculture.

We are one step closer to seizing the cattle. Our plans are to have them all removed by middle of next week.
Paperwork has all been started and evidence compiled.
Owner will be charged.
As of right now, they are being fed daily by our volunteers and one of our staff members purchased $500.00 in hay.

We are moving ahead with the cattle case.
They are starved and have not received the necessary procedures such as worming or healthcare in the past.
At this point, the owner is in violation of several State and Federal laws. We intend on charging him with the appropriate violations and removing the cattle from the property.
They are now being fed by our volunteers with feed, that several of you helped us to purchase.
We are still in need of hay, a local farmer has some he is willing to sale to us but we need help with that.
We bought some already and got it to them. We desperately need help in buying more hay.

You guys have rocked at helping us get feed for the cattle. Sadly, there are bones all over the property. We are working hard so that none of the others have to die.
They will eat good over the next several days. We still need hay and lots of it.
We have someone local that has extra and is will to sale it to us. If you can help with the cost of hay, it will be appreciated. We bought some today but more will be needed. Help if you can.

We are set up at Tractor Supply
808 Hwy 90 New Iberia Louisiana 70560 for the cattle feed. If you order, put as pick up by La. Cruelty Task Force.
Below is a picture and stock number for the feed we are needing.
The cattle are starving, police had to put one down yesterday due to very poor condition. We will be seizing these cattle this week but we need to feed them now.
If you can help, please do. We are also needing hay and if you would like, you can donate at the following links and we will purchase hay from a local farmer.

Let's feed the animals.
Several disasters have hit this year. We have helped with feed and supplies in nearly each one.
Today is the last day of our drive for the hurricane animals. Please help them sleep with a full belly tonight.

Due to the inclement weather today, we were unable to bring one of the seized horses out for pictures.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. None of us wanted to drown haha.

We are going to feature the 4 seized horses one at a time per day.
Today we feature Rocky, he is a 20+ year old gelding.
Rocky was seized due to his health and living conditions.
As you can see, he is full of scars and wound's, he is also underweight. Rocky had lost all 4 shoes but the nails remained in his feet. Can you believe they were still riding this poor guy in his condition? Well they were, and with a huge saddle soar as well.
Rocky seems to enjoy us caring for him and treating his wounds. He is very patient and will let us do what we have to. Due to his age, Rocky will not go up for adoption and will live his life grazing and just being a horse, he has suffered enough and will never be abused again.
