We are a destination for pet owners, farmers, and homeowners to stock up on feed, seed, garden supplies, fresh plants, and much more. Our stores are staples of locally-owned shopping options in each of the communities they serve and give customers a choice between top national brands as well as locally-made feed and seed sourced from local partners and directly from our historic mill in Delano. They are the experts that our customers have come to rely on for information about their animals and lawn care needs. Spikes & Houles employees own horses, chickens, goats, sheep, dogs, cats and other animals. They are not only passionate about their own animals, but they are also extremely passionate about our customers and the health of our customer's animals. Want to see for yourself? Just bring your pet with you when you shop one of our stores! Being able to shop WITH your pet is just one of the many benefits of shopping locally with us instead of the big box stores. A typical visit to a Spikes & Houles will see you greeted by large stacks of the feeds that you use the most: horse feed, chicken feed, wild bird seed, and dog & cat food. For locally-made feed and seed, we have more options than anyone else. Spikes & Houles also welcomes professional lawn care operators, pasture maintenance crews, landscape contractors, municipalities, golf courses, arborists and tree services to meet with our on-site turf expert and review your supply needs for fertilizer, organic fertilizer, grass seed, pest control products and winter ice melt.
