Well…it finally happened. The generator on one van is completely kaput. Honestly it couldn’t have come at a better time. We’ve been researching and browsing an all electric system for a while and now that something HAS to be done, we’re ready to take the leap! ⚡️

We will likely have some schedule changes in the next couple months to accommodate the vans now limited capabilities. We will reach out individually to work out appointments if necessary. But don’t worry: We don’t anticipate any downtime and have a few options to make sure we keep your puppers’ whiskers washed!

Once the upgrades are complete we will have a fully electric salon! No loud generator, no exhaust, no oil changes, no service appointments, and two very happy owners! (And a happier planet) 🌎 🌿

Please bear with us over the next couple months if we have to rearrange appointments; it’s going to be worth it in the end!

And we’re back!!!
🥳 Happy 2025!! 🥳 We’re so excited to be back with your pups! 2024 was an amazing year and 2025 is shaping up to be even better! Thank you all for trusting us with your furry kiddos. We absolutely love what we get to do and without your trust we wouldn’t be here!

If you’re an existing client you should have received a survey sometime in the last couple weeks. We want to hear from you! Tell us what you didn’t like and what you want more of! It’s going to be a big year and we want to be sure we’re making changes that provide the most value!

Happy Howlidays WW fam! We’re wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday season. Our offices will be closed Dec 23-Jan 2. Don’t worry if you have an appointment in that time; our vans will still be running! All messages, calls and emails will be returned beginning January 3. We love and appreciate all of you! Fun fact Friday! Did you know? A dog’s nose print is unique to each dog, similar to a human fingerprint. A dog’s nose print is a unique pattern of ridges and creases that doesn’t change as the dog ages.
It can be used as a biometric marker to identify individual dogs.
Some places in the United States use nose prints to identify lost dogs!

Hi WW fam! Since we have so many new followers (hey y’all!) we thought we should do a little reintroduction of ourselves. Meet Laura and Renee and our mascots and . Renee and Laura are the owners of Whisker Wash. Thank you all so much for supporting our business and trusting us with your pets!

Meet Laura(left)! She’s our Pet Tech CPR/First Aid Instructor and groomer. She’s been grooming for 2+ years and she has a wealth of knowledge regarding the health and safety of your dog! She loves teaching and she’s getting into more creative grooming. Be on the lookout for our next CPR/ First Aid class with her and broaden your skills. Her favorite dog to groom is a Golden Retriever and fave after work treat is a walk at Miller Park.

Meet Renee (right)! Founder of Whisker Wash, Renee has been grooming over six years and loves all things dogs! She is our groomer, maintenance guru, scheduler extraordinaire, bookkeeping expert, business planner and make happener person. Her favorite dog to groom is a Husky and fave after work treat is a glass of red from Medaloni Cellars.

Find out at our Pet First Aid & CLR class this Saturday at 10:15! We have all sizes of pups so you practice on one similar to your dog. I can promise you that even though it’s uncomfortable to think about this happening, having the knowledge and skills to help is a million times better than not having them.

We want to welcome Brenda to the Whisker Wash family! She has over 20 years experience grooming and is such an asset to our team. Her skills are 💯, she has such a calming presence and her love and passion for the care of animals is obvious. We feel so lucky she decided to join us! Her bio is below!

We have slowly been going through the waiting list, so if you haven’t heard from us yet, please reach out! We are now booking new clients and have openings in the next few weeks!

Brenda: I have always been around animals for as long as I can remember. I got my first love, a horse when I was 10 years old and the addiction started from there.
My hobby and passion for dog shows started in 2007 with my first show Bulldog and in 2018 with my first show Boston Terrier. I enjoy training and working with them everyday; they bring so much laughter and love.
My grooming career started in 2002 after my son was born. I was looking for a career I could enjoy and be home with my son. It quickly became a passion & wonderful career. The best part is making them look and feel great!

🚨 URGENT: Asheville Humane Society needs our help! 🚨

The catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene has overwhelmed the Asheville Humane Society, and countless animals are in desperate need of safety. We’re partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation to rescue as many pets as possible, but we can’t do it without your help!

We need emergency fosters to help us take in these animals! If you’ve never fostered before, that’s okay! Fostering is completely free—Forsyth Humane Society will provide you with all of the supplies you might need to help care for one of these animals. Every foster home we can secure is another life we can save! 🐾❤️

We are so excited to announce, after months of waiting, lots of studying and practicing, our very own Laura has completed her Pet Tech Instructor class! 🥳

This means she is certified to teach Pet CPR, First Aid, Senior Care and Dental Care & Hiking and Walking With Your Dog to pet parents and pet care professionals!
