Hi Humans,
I am Simba (the brown haired lionhead rabbit), some people get my name confused and call me Peter after Peter the rabbit, I'm not sure why. Mummy would describe me as the happy innocent bunny, I think it's because I binky and do bunny 500's every day and I'm curious about everything, not as nervous as Milo who is the more serious one. Milo loves strokes and Mummy says he is super inte
lligent and has to keep an eye on him sometimes so he doesn't escape up the stairs. We are both very happy bunnies and mummy says we are spoilt, she says it's because we were very poorly. When mummy bought us we both had a rabbit disease called Snuffles (a respiratory disease which stays with us for life and could cause us to die) the shop said we could go back to live there, but Mummy wouldn't let us and paid for our ongoing treatment and care for a year and half. We are now doing so well and at the moment we are medication free. We are a little sad about this as mummy used to mix our medication with some fruity baby food and we lovvvveeeed this. We no longer get this as mummy said too much is bad for our teeth. Last August Milo was very poorly and had to see a specialist rabbit vet in the middle of the night because he stopped eating and drinking. Piddle Valley Vets in Puddletown were amazing and rescued him, I really don't know what I would have done without him. I love him lots even though he can be a bit of a pain at times. Mummy said she wanted to create this page to keep everyone updated on our adventures and to share some useful information on keeping rabbits for potential bunny owners. Mummy said we are so cute but we are not easy to look after, we need constant interaction, a large play area and we do cost a lot of money.... but we are totally worth it. Lots of Love
Simba (Oh and Milo sends his love too) # # #
