I’ve been curious how our first Christmas with Midge will go, with the tree and all. She’s currently laying on my lap, staring at the tree (that I just got up and have only put lights on so far) and she just can’t relax. She’s so tired and sleepy, but keeps looking at the lights and the reflection in the window and the distorted effect it’s creating on the ceiling and she’s growling. 🤣🤣🤣 Haha!! I can’t wait to see how many ornaments are yet to be destroyed once those go up tomorrow! 😬 We may be dusting off the baby gate again!

There’s a special place in my heart for senior pets. Especially the ones I’ve been seeing over the course of many years. Watching them age is tough. Day to day, owners don’t necessarily see the changes that a Groomer or Care taker can. Whether it be a couple of weeks or a handful of months in between visits, the changes can happen so fast. It hurts my heart. Why can’t dogs live forever? 💕
