Physical and mental balance for dogs

Welcome to my business page. It is slightly strange to just put ones name above a business page instead of a company name but there it is: Sam Turner - Balanced Dogs is what I have chosen. Over the past years I have been deepening my understanding of proprioception training, physical and mental balance in dogs within the world of dog training. At first through Paws4Fun, my dog training school in The Netherlands but over the past four years more and more throughout Europe and even more globally by visiting Australia this year and the coming year.

My aim and vision is to teach (dog) professionals and caregivers more about body language and subtle body movement and what they mean. By looking with more attention being able to better listen to what is being said so our dogs feel safe in the knowledge that they are heard and we have their backs. Thinking about what we ask and what we do with our dogs and clients and what the effects are for them. Looking at movement and weight distribution alone can give so much insight into why dogs do or do not do certain things. Trying to deepen our understanding of this will make us better trainers and care givers.

I will be sharing my thoughts on different aspects of living with dogs and on training, upcoming events and interesting articles concerning training and physical and mental well-being of the animals (not just dogs) that we share our lives with. Giving you information about dogs bodies and helping you gain more understanding of balance and coordination training and how that can help dogs physically and mentally.
