UPDATE on baby Montana, he is doing very well. Typical puppy: playing, jumping, biting (ouch) & just being a fun boy. He will be posted for adoption as soon as he sits still long enough for me to grab some photos. Lol
I also want to send a shout-out and huge bouquet of thanks to our supporter: Joan Turnbull Sabatino. Because of her generosity, we have our astronomical vet bill for the parvo pups covered. Joan is a fierce defender of animals and we appreciate her stepping up to help us thru this anxiety-inducing time. And thanks to all who donated. Little Montana appreciates all the help getting him through this.

UPDATE: Both babies came home but one had to be rushed back the next day. Unfortunately the little brown guy didnt make it. He just couldnt beat the disease. But Montana is home and doing well. But we did have $5000 added to out vet bill trying to save Brady. Please help us cover our medical costs. Your donations are tax deductible

We very rarely ask for funds but we find ourselves in a dire situation and can use some help. We took in 2 pups this week but when I got them home, I didn't like the way they looked. So I rushed them over to a local ER Vet and they were diagnosed with deadly parvo. Parvo is highly contagious and can be fatal especially to puppies. It is also extremely expensive to treat. We were quoted $13,000 per pup (not a typo). Because I already looked in their eyes, euthanasia was out of the question. So now I am asking our supporters to please help us get these babies over the finish line. So far they are holding their own but they are not out of the woods by a long shot. Thankfully we have an angel who stepped up to do a matching donation for every dollar we receive (thank you Joan Sabatino). Please find it in your heart to help us save these precious babies. LUCHO HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND LEFT THE RESCUE ON SUNDAY (11-12). Good luck in your new home with you new Bassett brother and sister. I am going to miss you very much dear boy.

Anyone interested in adopting a Bassett boy? Sweet 8 year old male lost his home (like so many people these days). Needs to be vetted before he can go anywhere. Is friendly and looking for someone to bond with. He would not be good in a home with cats.

Applications and full bio can be found at www.allstarpetrescue.com. Because we do home visits, should live within 50 miles of Linden, NJ. However, if you are an experienced Bassett owner, will consider driving further out for a meet & greet. Experienced Bassett homes are preferred.

CHEWY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Anyone looking for a fun, happy dog.....I have the guy for you. Chewy is a 10 month old Aussie Cattle Dog/Beagle mix looking for his new home. You would think with those breeds he would be noisy but that is not the case. He is actually well behaved for a young pup in addition to being house broken. Chewy is listed on our adoption page at www.allstarpetrescue.com so check him out if interested. Located in Linden, NJ. Adoption fee is $300 and he is all vetted.

EMERGENCY FOSTER HOME NEEDED‼️‼️‼️❤️🐶🐾 Dogs are currently in NJ.

JJ (Shih Tzu) and Cooper (Brittany Spaniel) found themselves at a local overcrowded New Jersey shelter with nowhere to go. Both are about three years old and are absolute love muffins. They definitely look like they didn't skip any meals in their original home so they will need to be on a strict diet. They are both completely shut down, especially Cooper. We are in desperate need of a foster home that can keep them together for now. We have no idea if they will have to be adopted together yet, but we do know they need a quiet and loving foster home where they can decompress. They are not up for adoption right now and we will not entertain any applications or emails about adopting them. Our priority is getting them socialized and reacclimated into a home environment. They could potentially go into a foster home with another super friendly and outgoing dog. If you can foster them please send an email to [email protected].

3 month old pups ready for adoption. Total mutts but mainly Hound/Shepherd as far as we can tell. Guy on the left is Titan and he's going to be a bigger boy. Girl on the right is Star and she was the runt of the litter so will be a little smaller. Very playful but timid and shy right now - not enough interaction with the outside world. But they have nice personalities and will blossom into loyal and loving companions with the right guidance. If interested, please submit an application located at www.allstarpetrescue.com. THE PUPPIES ARE HERE!
We've had a long hiatus but we are starting off 2023 with new puppies for adoption. Meet Star (tan) and Titan (black). Born Oct 14, which makes them 10 weeks old. They just arrived so they will need a couple weeks to be properly vetted but if you are interested, please send in an application located at www.allstarpetrescue.com. They are total mixes but appear to have some Shepherd/Hound/Rottie in them. But don't hold us to that. Star was the runt so she may not be as big as Titan will get. Mom was a medium sized dog and dad was "who knows" (lol). You can see mom in the last photo. More pix to follow. To adopt you must be within 50 miles of Linden and in NJ only.
