Things to consider before buying a dog.

Does the breeder invest in their dogs?
Breed to preserve & improve the breed?
OFA test?
Keep dogs UTD on shots?
Will the breeder take back the dog if you are unable to keep it?
Travel over 1400 miles one way to show their dogs once to several times per year at breed specific shows?
Prove their dogs have work ethics?
Show dogs versatiity?
Does the breeder interview you or just sell a pup?

Unfortunately some breeds are getting watered down due to greeders who just want to make money and do nothing to ensure the dog does what it was bred for.

Booker Catahoulas have proven work ethic, prey drive and are OFA certified.

Planned breeding:
CH CAA DCAT Booker's Shameless X Rockin' H's Allygator. NALC & UKC registered. Foundation Stock Service AKC registered (performance sports).
Both OFA hips Good. High prey drive dogs that have worked cattle, hogs, keep vermin off property, personal protection; competed in A & B bay, treeing trials, conformation.
I don't breed often & this will be Allygators 3rd & last litter.
CA BCAT Carnage & BCAT Buntz are pups from a previous litter. Both pups OFA Good hips.

Booker Catahoulas had a wonderful weekend at the UKC FALL Bash!
Shameless earned 6x Champion of Champions & 5x Best of breed.
Carnage earned 1x Best of Breed, 6x Best Male & 6x First Place.

Great weekend in Chisolm. UKC Conformation: Shameless- 4 1st place wins, 4 Best of Breed wins, 4 Best Male wins, 4th place group. Carnage- 4 Reserve wins, 4 second place wins.

Enjoying our time at The Klimb in Maquoketa Iowa. Shameless earned his CAA. Top speed in FCAT as of today is 27.98 mph. Carnage is new to this sportdog competition, but he is on his way to earn his CA this weekend. His FCAT top speed is 20.91; he is still figuring it out. These boys have great prey drive, intellegence and looks to boot. Feeling blessed.
