Rabbits are fabulous pets but require a huge amount of care! In general rabbits need appropriate housing, exercise, socialisation and a specific diet for good welfare. Some breeds of rabbits, particularly the longer haired rabbits, may require daily grooming. It is important that you understand all the requirements for caring for a rabbit before you buy one.
Rabbits generally live for 5 to 8 years depending on their environment and breed, but they can live for as long as 12 years. If you decide to purchase a rabbit, make sure you are prepared to care for them that long.

Pet Sitting is NOT the easy job so many think. This story is why pet sitters ask so many questions about behavior and why a Meet and Greet before accepting the pet sitting request is required. We are professionals - this is not a hobby for extra money. It’s a profession we take seriously.

Please watch the video & see why we require a “meet & greet”, ask if there are any changes that we need to know regarding the pets, home, etc. The video can be disturbing but you’ll get a better understanding as to why we ask questions.

To Top it off, the client still has not paid the young woman the balance they owe for the sit! (Cats can be just as aggressive too!)

"The warning on the front door to me, I think, suggests that the Bishops knew that both of these dogs had acted aggressively to people arriving at the front door," Brooker told CBS News.

Brooker said an examination of the dogs, completed by an expert hired by his team after the attack, shows "that the dogs were dangerous and had vicious propensities."

"CBS Mornings" lead national correspondent David Begnaud spoke to Jacqueline Durand, a former dog-sitter who is recovering from a horrific dog attack. She talks about how she is handling her recovery and why she still dreams of working with animals.

🚫🚫🚫 Suspected dog poisoning? 🚫🚫🚫

If you think your dog has been poisoned, try to stay calm. It is important to act quickly, but rationally.
First, gather up any of the potential poison that remains -- this may be helpful to your veterinarian and any outside experts who assist with the case. If your dog has vomited, collect the sample in case your veterinarian needs to see it.
Then, try to keep your pet calm and call your veterinarian. Another option is your local Pet Poison Hotline.

🚫*🚫*🚫❗️EASTER IS COMING❗️🚫*🚫*🚫
The entire lily plant is toxic: the stem, leaves, flowers, pollen, and even the water in a vase. Eating just a small amount of a leaf or flower petal, licking a few pollen grains off its fur while grooming, or drinking the water from the vase can cause your cat to develop fatal kidney failure in less than 3 days.
