Samantha "Sam Dog" Hanson I'm a dog. A GREAT dog, in fact. Get to know me. Better yet, bring me a people-food snack. Yeah, THAT's the ticket! I was born in Bonita Springs, FL in 2007.

I was pretty badly abused until I got fed up with people being mean to me, so I ran away from home. Fortunately, I had a chance encounter with Keith, who adopted me and became the best Dog Dad ever! He loves me and spoils me. I get to go to work with him every day and have for the better part of my life. I'm so lucky! I have a great home, a Dad who loves me and a purpose!

My Dad got me a brand new doggie bed for the studio!!! And it’s not even my birthday or anything! Admittedly, this is probably the weirdest sleeping position I’ve ever slept in, but this bed is SOOOOO comfortable, and my old one was getting pretty worn out. (I do a lot of sleeping, especially at the studio.)

MY Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! How was YOURS?

Got to play a few rounds of "chase the stick" in the lake yesterday... and worked on my doggy paddle in the process! I love summer!

My Story

I was born in Bonita Springs, FL in 2007. I was pretty badly abused until I got fed up with people being really mean to me, so I ran away from home. Fortunately, I had a chance encounter one night with Keith, who immediately adopted me and became the best Dog Dad ever! An hour after he found me, he took me to Pet Smart to buy me a collar and a leash. It was at that moment that I knew I’d found my forever home. My Dad loves me and spoils me and tells me all the time that I’m his little girl. The best thing is that I get to go to work with him EVERY SINGLE DAY, just as I have for the better part of my life. I'm so lucky and so very thankful for that! I have a great home, a Dad who loves me and best of all, I have a purpose! LIKES: my toys, naps, chasing squirrels, eating grass, steak juice drizzled on my doggy supper, and vanilla ice cream cups. DISLIKES: Having my paws touched, thunder and vacuum cleaners.
