As we had someone with us who could throw, Arthur had some great retrieves to do.

Today we shared our local field hire with Lil, Dyl and Mil.
It meant Milo and Arthur could charge about and play without the fear of being interrupted or Arthur leading him astray.

Can’t even blame the wind this is just what he does, no wonder the garden is turning into a muddy bog with no grass. Crazy Arthur.

Super tired ted. This morning he went gundog training. Apparently he was super good, he worked really well and didn’t go off hunting on his own. He’s still not as good as his goodie two shoes sister Maud, but we are super proud there’s hope he might make a gun dog yet.

Advent day 11 ROLL OVER, a nice simple one.
After 10 years we have a game of fetch.
Dash playing fetch, this may seem like a normal things that all dogs do, but for Dash this is a big accomplishment.
Although Racer and Dash loved each other, sadly Racer bullied Dash. This meant it was very difficult for Dash to ever relax enough to play games like fetch. We really tried over the years but he was always concerned Racer or another dog would just come in and take the toy, so game over.
Dash is now settled without Racer, and happy enough to play fetch in the house. Arthur is still learning to control himself and is behind a baby gate, but this is NOT putting Dash off.
So happy Dash is happy. It’s the little things that make the world good.

Arthur here, once a week hu-mum aims to take me out alone. This is because I’m going to be a proper gundog and need to practice, and because I need to learn to be on my own( I don’t understand that either, apparently dash can’t hold my paw forever).
So here is footage of me being a proper gundog.
It is hard for her to film and throw and look apparently 🤷♀️, and they say women can multi task.
