Apparently they don’t need our supervision or instruction “pivot” when moving heavy furniture and we need to be put behind bars for “our safety”.

Mum where have you been? Gone all day, us abandoned, thank goodness you are home.
Well Eddie today I went to Highclere Castle, used as the home of the Crawleys in Downton Abbey, in real life it is the home of the Earl of Carnarvon. They open their beautiful home for the public to nose about in. Sadly no photos are allowed inside the house.
In the basement there is a really good exhibition about the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who along with Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922. It has some genuine ancient Egyptian artefacts and amazing replicas of Tutankhamuns tomb artefacts.
Whatever mum, just don’t do it again.

Six years ago was Arthur’s first puppy class. Now he is all grown up and a gold good citizen he gets rewarded for being a good boy in a crate while he watches me work. That is me showing off my stay, it’s really improved and I don’t get so scared I have to run to mum.

Early ish trip to the dog field this morning. Eddie was not in the mood for dummy retrieves and keep trying to put me off. But to be fair his stop whistle is improving for his favourite tug toy.

Freedom Friday.

There have been more people on the common in the early morning because of the heat, but this morning it was back to normal and nice and quiet, so we got some freedom.

Mum came home with a present of a stick from our frenchie friends Jean-Luc and William, it’s too big for them. It’s a super gift and is apparently to stop me stealing and eating all the DIY off cuts of wood.
Well I love it, but I let it go for a couple of seconds and Arthur stole it. But don’t worry I stole it back.

End of an era today, the Dashiman van Mk2 has been sold and gone on to have adventures with a new family.
We have had a VW campers since 2017 and so many adventures.
But fear not, I have been promised a new camper, the Arthurmobile, it will be arriving 1st September with more mod cons and a bigger bed, (well I do have to share with monster now.)
The adventures will continue.
