Winter's laryngeal paralysis eventually led to the contracture of both of her front legs. She's only two years old and defying the odds. The braces are not to force her paws into a normal standing position, but to protect her wrists and lift her to her correct standing height. This straightens her spine and reduces stress on her other joints. Watch her go!
Clayton is ensuring Zoe's new brace fits perfectly. Last summer, she got a left knee brace for a CCL tear. Unfortunately, she recently injured her right CCL and is back for a second brace. Now she's prancing around with two knee braces!
Check out Kevin as he carefully molds a layer of foam for a custom knee brace. Each brace is meticulously crafted with one or more layers of foam to guarantee maximum softness and comfort for every furry friend who wears it.
Tripod Snickers is bouncing along! His right front leg was amputated as a puppy. When he tore his CCL, his family knew he needed some support.
Witness Dray's transformation from holding his leg up and limping to joyfully running and wagging his tail! While it's a familiar sight for us, we want pet families to know this is a normal progression with this injury. With time and help from a custom knee brace, you can help your pet play again after sustaining a CCL injury.
Michael is machining. He's shaping the brace and making sure the edges are all smooth.
Dixie Ann is overcoming her Achilles tendon injuries with style!
It's extra fun when we have a non-dog patient in the office! We recently helped Cat the sheep from Woodstock Farm Sanctuary with a prosthetic.
George's brace is as big as a human's!
Gigi is prancing away. Today was her one-month recheck.
Pili is becoming the bionic dog with his three leg braces!
From a paw to a prosthetic, Baron von Tucker is on the run!
Gunner is revving up for a good time!
Zeke is back for a new prosthetic. He's on the run!
After an accident, Zeke was in need of a prosthetic paw and a hock brace.
Zeke’s family said, “Both devices have helped Zeke tremendously! I hate him not wearing his prosthetic. It is a necessity. After getting used to the prosthetic, Zeke stopped getting stuck on the steps and he runs and plays a lot more! He even started jumping up on the couch again. Happy to be alive!”
It's normal for dogs to walk a little funny the first time they wear their brace. They may stick their leg out, kick, hop, or do all sorts of odd things. They usually forget about their brace after a few minutes. For stubborn ones, it may be a few days🤣.

Oh, what an adventure-filled summer it's been for some of our furry friends!
Ellie, our water-loving princess, had an absolute blast splashing around in the crystal-clear lakes of upstate NY. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for swimming made every day a doggy paradise!
Kimba, the explorer extraordinaire, embarked on a breathtaking journey to picturesque Newfoundland. From stunning coastal cliffs to charming fishing villages, every corner held a captivating sight for Kimba's curious eyes.
And how could we forget our charming Annabelle? She strolled along the idyllic coastal paths of beautiful Maine, her tail wagging with joy as she embraced the salty breeze and endless scenic views.
Jim is back from visiting Namal the Asian elephant! He and our friend, Alex, from 3DPets traveled to Namal's home in Sri Lanka with a prototype for a new prosthetic leg. When he was two, his leg was entwined in some vines and part of his leg had to be amputated. We learned more about Namal's needs and we are already hard at work on version 2.0 of Namal's prosthesis.
