🥇 Sure, they may be niche sports, but Fizzgig and Gonzo work hard to excel and dominate the podium! What are your pups’ and kitties’ gold medal goals? 🥇

DAMMIT JIM, why can’t you get that through your head?! Anyway, hope all the kitties out there get some extra good scritchies and knock a cup or two off the counter for us! 😸

🎉 We wanna wish all the dads (of humans and dogs) out there (including Treatpas) a very happy day today! Unfortunately they didn’t get to meet their treatpa, but I know he while have loved them and vice versa. After all, he’s the one who started our love of dogs, and rescue dogs in particular! We hope everyone has a lovely day, and if today is hard for you, know that the Pom Police are sending lots of special love and cuddles! 💜

Sorry pups, but Treatma awaits! That’s right folks, I’m away for the next couple weeks to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday! So Fizzgig and Gonzo will be holding down the fort with their amazing dogsitter. But their lack of opposable thumbs means new orders will be processed when I get back on July 1st! Now I’m going to go catch my flight before Fizzgig finds an axe 🪓

🥚 We know it’s a tight turnaround from drop to ship, but things at Bananapants Ranch have been, well, bananas the last few months! So we’re working overtime to package up your cookie orders, under the strict supervision of Chef Fizzgig, of course! A reminder that today (Thursday) is the last day to order them for Easter delivery, as they’ll be on their way to the broker tomorrow morning. For folks local to Montreal, we will have the pick-up option available up to Easter Sunday though. 🥚

I take small egg cookies and place them inside plastic eggs with small air holes on them. “Gotta have purple snuffle cartons, ‘cause it’s me…” I then place two large decorated cookies into the remaining slots. “Check out the sniffy holes on the plastic eggs, perfect for nosework after Easter” I close it up and place a “Chez Fizzgig” sticker on top. “All packed up and ready for inspection from the Chef!” I take the carton over to Fizzgig, and she runs up and boops the box. “Looking (and smelling) good momma, boop approved.” The final screen shows an image of a completed box with the text “last day to order for easter delivery.”

🐇 Move aside, Easter Bunny, there’s a new cookie sheriff in town. Chef Fizzgig has been baking up a storm and has a whole lot of goodies for you. But they’re extremely limited in number, and are shipping Friday to make sure folks get their snackos in time for the big day! So your last day to order is Thursday. 🐰

🍉And when you visit our website, you’ll also see our new fundraising line, with 100% of profits going to Sulala Animap Rescue. We’ll post tomorrow talking more about that, because we didn’t feel okay with just tacking that on here! 🍉

☘️🍉You might have noticed that while we’ve been more quiet on our grid these days, but much more active in our stories. So let’s talk about why! To be very honest, we have been struggling with how to run our account on here in a way that aligns with our social justice values. The fact is, our business is all about creating funny things for your pets. Our products are goofy and silly, by design. And so posting about selling silly and goofy things in the midst of multiple genocides has been tough. But the reality is, this is our business, and to keep advocating and keep going, we have to keep the lights on and the pups in treats!

So while we’ll be posting more of our products, that will NOT come at the expense of advocating for marginalized people. So we’re going to do our best to try and incorporate our products with messaging, and continue to point to resources to educate and inform!

So today, while we announce our limited restock of our St Patrick’s Day cookies, we also want to remind you all to look to Ireland for an example of what it looks like for a country to fully show up to help bring an end to apartheid and genocide! Because these days, we are far more proud of being Irish than Canadian. We’ve been a bit silent 😉 on our grid, but the Pom Police director has been sick! Which is why we have a silent patrol video today, I’ve lost my voice! So while I’m recuperating we’ll still be a bit quiet here, but we’ll still be getting loud in our stories, especially to say ! 🍉

At 7:55pm tonight I was guided to the entrance of The Rainbow Bridge.
I haven’t crossed yet because I have been sitting out here thinking about how was going

First of all the decision was right and I was ready.

I lived the best life and am so happy with what we have done with Juno’s Place, which brings me to my next statement…..
Juno’s Place will always be Juno’s Place and my family will be stepping in and taking on some of my responsibilities… They know the assignment.

So I hope you all stick around to see what happens next..
I hope it’s not a dumpster fire
Anyway… I am sure it will be ok!

Tonight we celebrate my mere fifteenth years here and just remember, I truly appreciate all of you.
You are my pack, my friends and my extended family.
We had good times, sad times, great times, sadder times and some pretty downright amazing times and we did it all together.

I can ask you not to cry
I can tell you that I am ok
I can tell you I will be overseeing things when I can and am allowed.
I can tell you I love you all and always have… I told you with every goodnight post.

🍉 Today is a day of global strike to end the genocide in Palestine. We know that not everyone can participate in the same way, but we all can participate in one way or another. One of the simplest ways that Palestinians are asking us to take action is by sharing images of Gaza, by flooding social media so that no one can bury their heads in the sand and pretend we are not witnessing a mass genocide of the Palestinian people. Share Palestinian creators and voices, follow the journalist heroes on the ground. If you’re not sure where to start, here are some wonderful sources .jpg

Today, contact your elected officials and demand that they push hard on a ceasefire. We need divestment. We need boycotts. So take today to write and/or call your elected officials. And take a moment today to learn and unlearn about this issue. There are so many incredible sources available to all of us for free. has done an amazing job for dogstagram of compiling resources and informations at all levels. So go check out her highlights and posts!

They may seem like small acts, but each one is shifting the tide. The global groundswell of support to end this nightmare is very real and very powerful, but we cannot let up. The Israeli state is counting on fatigue, they’re counting on people letting this issue fade away. It is our responsibility to not allow that to happen. So get loud and stay loud!! Once they’re sold out, they’re sold out! Second, we are closing all sale of handmade goods and stickers at midnight PST om December 6th, anything purchased after that time will be processed January 2nd! 🍉 We have always been a business predicated on social Justice values. And we always use our platform to support marginalized communities and the oppressed. While we have been sharing information and news in our stories, we wanted to make it clear on our grid as well, that we demand our political leaders push for a ceasefire in the region. We call on the international community to haul both Hamas and the Israeli state before The Hague for prosecution.
We are witnessing war crimes in real time. We are witnessing a genocide. And no one is free until we are all free.
I am not “uninformed” on this issue. As privileged people watching from afar, it is our responsibility to push for these things to happen. This is not a time to equivocate over whether or not you think this is a genocide, it is. As we quibble about semantics, like we did with Rwanda, with Syria, innocent people die.
1 out of 200 people in Gaza have been killed. Roughy 40% of those are children. If you do not understand why we are demanding a ceasefire, then please go to and . If, after watching their stories and viewing their posts, you still want to “debate” whether there should be a ceasefire, then this is not the page for you. We are not the same.
This will also not be a space for anti-semitism. Because the battle against oppression includes *all* oppressed people. We will instantly block anyone who engages in bigotry or genocide apologism on our page.
I know that it is not easy to speak up. It can be scary. But it’s a small moment of stress in our lives to help bring an end to unimaginable suffering in others. Stay strong. Stay loud.
We will be donating all proceeds from our “no Justice no treats” bandanas for the foreseeable future to medical aid in Gaza. But we never want to feel people need to buy from us to support these causes, so we’ve added the fundraiser link directly to our profile as well.🍉
