As a reminder we will be closed December 24 & 25, 2024 for Christmas! We will reopen on Thursday December 26, 2024.

Very exciting growth happening at Rocket City!

We have some very exciting news to share!

Introducing Rocket City Veterinary Hospital Pine Grove! We will be opening our doors to our second location on January 13th. We will also be hosting a grand opening and open house at our new location! More information to follow! Stay tuned for our new adventure!

P.S. please also know that we are still currently looking for ER doctors with hopes that we will be able to open our ER again!

Thanksgiving is only 3 days away!

We want to let all of our wonderful clients know that we will be closed Thursday November 28 and Friday November 29, 2024 for Thanksgiving.

If you need any medication refills, please remember to call those in as soon as possible to ensure that they can be filled in a timely manner.

We LOVE our staff!!

Every year I dedicate an entire week to celebrate and show appreciation to my amazing staff. Each and everyone of them bring so much value, dedication, and love to Rocket City Veterinary Services!

Every day is a new challenge and comes with many heartbreaks as we grieve with families when they lose a beloved family pet, rejoice with them when our medicine feels like miracles and saves a life, celebrate with them when a new pet is added to a family, and sometimes being the brunt of abuse when people's emotions get too high.

The people I employ come to work each and every day with kindness, humility, and appreciation for the career path they have chosen. I can't express enough the great honor it is to have these people work for me and they make Rocket City Veterinary Services the success it is. You are NOTHING without your veterinary team!

You all make me proud! Happy Staff Appreciation Week!

With that being said, we will having the following closures this week to celebrate my wonderful staff.

Monday, October 14 - we will be closed from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Tuesday, October 15 - we will be closing early at 4 PM.
Friday, October 18 - we will be closing early at 4 PM.

I appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience these closings may cause.

Happy Labor Day!

We will be closed on Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day! We hope our staff gets a well deserved day of rest.

Our ER will be open tomorrow evening from 6 pm to midnight.

We will be closed today due to driving conditions. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we do not make this decision lightly. We worry about the safety of our staff and clients.

We will again monitor the road conditions through the day and tomorrow morning to determine if we can make it in on Wednesday. Please stay safe and warm!

We will be closed the rest of the day and will be delaying opening again tomorrow until 10am to allow us time to evaluate the roads.

Our ER doctor tonight is snowed/iced in and cannot make it to the clinic. HVSE in Huntsville is open normal hours and can be reached at 256-715-8389. Please follow for any updates.

We will be delaying opening tomorrow Monday January 15 until 10am. Staff will be reaching out to reschedule appointments. We are closely monitoring the weather situation and will update accordingly. Due to the severity of the weather conditions this may cause us to be unable to open at all tomorrow. We will update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and everyone stay safe!
