Space Chunka

I recorded this piece in 2007 for my cats. It's almost 30 minutes long. I used settings on my guitar processor at a rates of 140 and numbers divisive of that, 70, 35, for compression, delay, reverb, chorus and flange, and for the drum and bass unit I used, to create a multi-variate wave while I played on my Les Paul guitar. All based on the resting heart rate for cats of 140 beats per minute. I'd tested it prior to the recording of Space Chunka and found that my pride of 12 would go belly up and sleep in places around the house of their choosing, of course. I'll put it on to this day when it's time for them to rest. And it still works. And their purring and sleeping will also often induce me to sleep as well. Purrfect for naptime! Let me know if when you play it here your cats go to sleep as well.
