This is a good example of a Mini Plush Lop's coat progression. Its hard for me to believe that this is the same rabbit! They go through 2 molts when they are young usually between 4-12 weeks old and they can look pretty scruffy, but they then smooth out to the beautiful velvet texture that they are known for. After they have reached this stage they hardly shed at all! They will continue to experience a molt at least once a year but aside from that no more excessive shedding!
