My Story

Tim Anderson - Owner & Founder

First of all, I am an animal lover. I have a Husky named Echo and a Malamute named Sasha. They bring so much joy and chaos into our lives that I wouldn't know what to do without them. I grew up in Ann Arbor MI, and my first dog was a little, chubby Beagle-Terrier mix named Gus. We spent many days roaming the woods, and going on long walks and runs. Those are some of my fondest memories of growing up.

I ended up staying in Ann Arbor and attending the University of Michigan where I played football as a starting linebacker back in the early 1980's and experienced many of the injuries that would eventually lead me to h**p for relief. Over the last 30 years, I've worked as an executive in several great companies large and small, but I've never felt better about what I do than now. Providing understanding, dignity, compassion, and relief to others has always been a passion of mine in business. Starting a Massage & Wellness Center in Littleton, CO with my wife Jennifer several years ago was one way of fulfilling that passion. As an animal lover and pet owner, starting Colorado Sun - H**p Pet Care to provide healing and relief to animals is yet another way. I get back way more than I give in this business, and knowing that I'm helping suffering pets (and their suffering owners) is tremendously satisfying.

Having had many pets over the years, I know some of the most heartbreaking and helpless feelings a person can have...when a pet is in pain or distress and there is nothing you can do to help them...and nothing they can do to help themselves either, especially as they get older. I'm no stranger to chronic pain, suffering major injuries and a dozen surgeries over the years that still can cause me a lot of pain today. I discovered the relief and healing effects that h**p had on my body and mind a long time ago, and I've always wanted to share my experience with others. I'm very proud and excited to be a part of the h**p revolution, and I'm proud to be part of a company that will provide relief and healing to so many of our loved ones.
