This is marge (new name) who was unfortunately abandoned outside Pawfection Rehoming shop. They need urgent funds for veterinary care, dog food and to help bring marge up to a good standard.

XL Bully or not? ⬇️…

ℹ️ WoodGreen situation.

After we recieved the confirmation no XL Bully type dogs were euthanised by RSPCA we asked about non bully type that had recently been euthanised.

We have now received confirmation that there were 13 dogs unfortunately euthanised at the site. The dogs was used as security dogs for the owner who had lost his home as a result of other matters not relating to the ban.

The dogs was not typed to be XL Bully dogs nor was this decision anything to do with the ban, the dogs behaviour & training had meant they was not eligible for pet homes as the risk they presented.

The owner and wood-green had explored many different options over the last few months however non was viable so it was decided by the owner and woodgreen the dogs would be euthanised.

Orbit housing have confirmed they will accept exempted XL Bullys however there is a process to follow⬇️
