Crested Geckos / Correlophus ciliatus Omnivorous, feeding on fruit and insects. Formerly Rhacodactylus ciliatus, this gecko reaches an average size of 8" total length and 4 1/2" to 5" Snout to Vent.

Correlophus ciliatus, commonly known as Crested Gecko or Eyelash Gecko, is native to the southern region of New Caledonia (Grande Terre) and a satellite island just Southeast, Pine Island (Isle de Pins). This species uses a prehensile tail with a flattened tail tip with lamellae as a fifth appendage to climb and for balance during jumping. The head is triangular in shape with crest structure above

the eyes that follows down the first quarter of the back. A wide range of color variations from brown, orange, red, yellow, and black along with many different physical traits make each crested gecko unique.
