You win some and you lose some! 11 slugs (infertile), 2 with no veins that I can see (likely infertile then too) and 2 fertile. Better than no fertile at least! Dhet marble/T+ bred to a tarble. Second guessing whether I should vend at the expo next year. Guess it depends what else gets laid before Christmas 👀

Bit of a side page I have. I’m sharing as I’m trying to get to 100 followers to start ads.

I don’t always post about reptiles, it’s more about life, but my aim is to help others chase freedom also, eventually replacing their 9-5.

It might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Feel free to scroll on if it’s not yours. But I would appreciate as many follows or even shares of my page as possible as I’ve reached a point where I’m sick of the eat, sleep, work repeat ethic. It’s just not for me.

Many thanks for any follows in advance ♄

Pictures just aren’t doing this girl any justice. This is the last girl left from last season. Hatched on my birthday, February 10th. Every time I try to take a photo, she gets shy. Located Redbank Plains. PM any questions!

Some of our baby central bearded dragons from our hypo het trans blue bar normal scale to hypo het trans leatherback dunner pairing. Going to be some vibrant yellow dragons with a few with orange hues. Looks like some blue barring poking through. Can s*x them. Message with any enquiries.

We’re located in Redbank Plains QLD.

A sad post to see this morning. I’d always imagined one day returning to the US and perhaps visiting the Reptarium and meeting him. It’s sad to think that Brian has now passed. I used to watch his YouTube videos like they were a bible and a lot of his enclosures and what he does with reptiles influenced me to where I am today. Brian, you will be very much missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace

On behalf of the Barczyk family and our entire team at The Reptarium, it is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brian Barczyk.

More than the guiding light of our organization, Brian's fervent passion for reptiles and wildlife, along with his steadfast dedication to education, has touched innumerable hearts and minds globally.

Our deepest sympathies are with Brian's family, his friends, and all those whose lives he has touched. We've lost an exceptional individual – a visionary, mentor, and friend. For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Brian's absence leaves an immeasurable void.
As we navigate this difficult time, we find comfort in the memories and the lasting light of Brian's work. He will be deeply missed but indeed, never forgotten.

The Barczyk family invites you to join us for a Public Memorial Walk-through to honor Brian’s memory. The event will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Heritage Church, located at 44625 Schoenherr Rd. Sterling Heights, MI 48313 from 1-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to show your support by visiting https://thereptarium.com/pages/brianbarczyk . Your engagement and involvement are greatly valued during this time.

Also, at LegaSea's opening, visitors will find Brian's handprints. Guests place their hands in his, continuing his legacy in a simple, yet powerful gesture. Please continue to follow this page for updates.

Brian, we will see you in the next one. Everyone else, see you at LegaSea.

- The Reptarium Team.

A second clutch laid and a comparison to the first clutch laid on November 1st which should be due to hatch around Christmas! Good job Saphira! Now to get her nice and well fed after a solid effort for this mums first season (and also incase she decides to add another clutch to that count!). Stay tuned for more!

Saphira finally laid her first clutch! Wasn’t even sure if the stud, Phoenix, did the job as he was a first time breeder also but it looks like we got a few fertile eggs. Unfortunately Saphira laid a little all over the place. Some eggs weren’t buried so had started deflating. Unfortunately she’d also nicked one egg whilst scratching so it was quite deflated. It had a really strong embryo so I chucked it in the incubator in case it can be saved. Only time will tell.

Another lay from our 100% het T+ girl, Nova. She was bred to the same DHet tarble (T+/marble) male as the previous yet-to-be-named girl that laid on October 7.

Nova was also sold to us as Patternless, though over the 3 years I’ve had her she has gradually gained pattern. A shame she wasn’t a ‘true Patternless’. Yet to add one of those to the collection. Perhaps this season

Handy dandy to always have a temp gun so you can quickly spot check temps in your tanks and racks. I always prefer these temp guns so that I don’t have to buy a heap of thermometers and deal with all the cords. Nice and portable between rooms too! I already have one but wouldn’t hurt to have another - head on over and enter the comp, and also like and share my friends page, Husbandry Wizard, which will be a new way to track all your reptiles and more in one easy app.

HW's next exciting giveaway!
To enter, all you have to do is like our page, like this post on here ( HW ) and share this post.
By completing these steps, you will have the chance to win a brand new Inkbird infrarred thermometer. This will Assist you to be able to quickly check temp ranges throughout all your enclosures in minutes.
The lucky winners will be selected through a random draw on September 22nd, 2023.
Best of luck to everyone participating

I hadn’t seen an ovulation before in my antaresia but last night I finally saw this one. Thanks to my friend Kurt at Progressive Pythons Australia for confirming that one and putting up with all my late night questions. Hoping for some visual marble and T+ hatchies from her, or maybe even a tarble đŸ€žđŸ»

We’re slowly getting back into things here at Pride Rock. Thank you to those who’ve stayed and supported the page while I’ve been out of it. I’ll try to get back into posts.

For now, here is our Newest edition. I haven’t quite decided what to call her yet but I’ll think of something. She may even be up to size this season, but we’ll see!

Queensland had its first reptile expo since 2018 this weekend. It’s up in Morayfield tomorrow 10-3 if you still wanted to go. Was unfortunately rather crowded and hard to see all the vendors but I did manage to get this cutie from SunCoast Frogs. Meet Gamora đŸ„°
