💡 Did you know that mycotoxins can impact sow reproduction?
Mycotoxicosis can alter milk production and the physiological status of the mammary gland, leading to significant economic losses in swine production.

🔬 At BIŌNTE, we conducted an in vivo study in collaboration with the Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας University of Thessaly (Greece) to evaluate the efficacy of BIŌNTE® QUIMITŌX® PLUS against aflatoxin B1 and fumonisins.

📈 What did we achieve?
✅ Increased antioxidant capacity
✅ Improved mammary gland status
✅ Enhanced litter characteristics

🔍 Conclusion: BIŌNTE® QUIMITŌX® PLUS demonstrated high efficacy in mitigating the negative effects of mycotoxins on sow health and reproductive performance.

We have now completed five sessions of our Mycotoxin Academy, and it has been a resounding success for Latin America! 🎉 In this reel, we show you the key topics 📚 we have covered to gain a thorough understanding of mycotoxins and their impact on animal production. 🐄🐖🐔
We explored everything from the origin 🧬 of mycotoxins and their relationship with climate change 🌡️, to sampling 🧪, analysis 🔬 and the complex interactions between them. We closed this stage by analysing the crucial impact of mycotoxins on the immune system. 💪
