One post to update all the dogs in rescue
3 puppies all have potential homes. The girls needs puppy shots and microchips before their meet and greets!!!
Clay has a family interested in him and hopefully once we have some good weather he will have his meet and greet.
Koda will be going to his new home soon, weather has delayed this.

Hera will be evaluated before she is back up for adoption. She showed some unwanted behaviors in her last placement.
Jinx can’t be adopted out and we have had some serious discussions on what to do with him. He has injured a few of the dogs here and his neurological issues are getting worse. I honestly am sick over what to do.
Dalton just arrived so we are still getting to know him.
Delma, Eli, Lily-Ana, Jake, Jax, Nakita and Mariel are all up for adoption.

German Shepherd puppy play. Malachi is growing so fast at 6 months old he is almost as big as Auggie. We are still working on strengthening his front and back legs, it seems when we make progress he has another growth spurt and we are back to the beginning. Luckily he isn’t in any pain.

Jinx update:
Unfortunately things are getting worse.
His fly snapping is getting worse, he does it almost all day long now and even when he is eating, and it keeps him up part of the night.
He has had a few altercations with some of the dogs. Luckily no one was injured but he can not play outside when we all go out together. The more excited he gets the more aggressive his play gets.
I do not believe he is being aggressive at all but he has no control over himself.
We tried gabapentin and that had no effect on him. We recently starting giving him Trazadone daily to see if that would help and it doesn’t effect him. We know that he has a brain injury and his thought process is different from a normal dog. He does not pick up on the social cues from the other dogs and when we ask him to do something or not do something he has to be told over and over again. Working with a dog with neurological issues can be so hard as the things you would normally do when working with a dog doesn’t work with them.
Before people jump to conclusions we are still trying to work with him, I’m just letting people know where we are at with him.
