🐾 Meet Titan, the Brave Dachshund! 🐾
Titan may have suffered a brain injury due to falling down stairs at his previous owner's home, but that hasn't dampened his spirit or zest for life. This little warrior is looking for his special forever home.
Titan is incredibly resilient, affectionate, and ready to fill your life with joy. Could you be the hero he's been waiting for? Titan's ideal home would have a fenced in yard, but he LOVES to go on leash walks as well.
If you have a big heart and a loving home, please consider adopting Titan. Let's find him the perfect family! ❤️🐶

Has anyone else tried the Hands In Challenge with their pup??
TDR alum Cooper (fka Kyle) totally nailed it!! 😎😎
If you have a video of your dog trying it, we'd love to see it! If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot and let us see how it goes!

Today is National Rescue Dog Day! And we’re coming to you with an ask.
We are struggling to keep up financially. We need help, so we’re asking you to skip your coffee, tea, scone, or candy bar and donate $5 to TDR. The truth is our average adoption fee is $375, but the average spend on one dog is over $700. The math ain’t mathing, but we also don’t want to increase our adoption fees nor do we want to decrease the level of care we provide.
Titan is why we are not giving up. He likely has head trauma and has neurological balance issues. He needs us. Special needs dog needs are expensive and vetting is no different. Titan needs our help. Can you help us, help Titan today by donating $5?

Thank you in advance. We can’t do this without your support.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated for our fence project at our kennel so our babies have room to run AND a safe place to do adoption events.
We’re so excited to expand our services Copeland Veterinary Hospital.
Look for a grand opening party soon!
Scout (dachshund) and Chloe (pug) were previously adopted in January 2022, but found their way back to TDR due to life changes. These two are approximately 8-9 years old. Scout and Chloe are easy going and love to lounge and cuddle up beside the people they love and feel safe with. They prefer indoors, but on a pretty day enjoy roaming the yard or taking walks.
Please consider adding these sweeties to your home. They deserve a forever home.

Happy Easter! We hope everyone is having a great weekend and that the Easter Bunny visited with some surprises for our long dogs.
TDR Foster Schroeder got to go egg hunting for treats! Show us what your pups are doing this Sunday!
Olivia Grace is a 4-5 year old brindle dachshund who doesn’t love loud noises. She has been somewhat stressed at the vet and has gotten a bad rep of being sassy.
Olivia Grace will need a calmer home with no kids or older dog savvy kids. Olivia would do best in a home with a family that understands dachshunds and be patient with her as she learns to trust her new family.
She’s a sweet girl, who just is misunderstood.
If you think this sounds like your girl, visit Tndachshundrescue.com to apply.
This little cutie is Ollie. He’s a snuggle buddy and just wants to be with his person. Ollie is good with other dogs, but doesn’t live with kids so we’re not sure. He’s working on house training and will need a home who is willing to continue to work with him.

Be on the lookout!! 👀👀👀
2024 TDR calendars are being delivered!
Another HUGE thanks to everyone that participated and made this our biggest calendar fundraiser yet!! 😍
Sweet Domino is one of our new intakes. Domino is 9-years young and slightly overweight. She won't be ready for some time, but she got a haircut today and a pawdicure because her nails were curled into her footbed and had severe mats.
HOLLY Update!
Our little shattered hip girl is doing great! She has a follow up visit early September and hopefully will receive her release then! She’s a very happy girl and appreciates everyone’s support.
❤️💙💜 NELSON UPDATE!!!!!! 💜💙❤️
We got the best video update today on Nelson. Check him out!!! He’s using his legs!! The surgery was a success, and he should fully recover. What an amazing outcome.
We seriously couldn’t have done it without your support. A broken back is a death sentence and yet this little guy made it out alive.
Thanks to his special Good Samaritan who found him, his brother, and Daddy Cash and placed with us.
Nelson has a long road to fully recover so please don’t inquire about adopting yet. Let’s give him time to settle in his foster home and heal.

Miss Hope had a good day today making messes for her foster family to clean up! She goes back tomorrow for more blood work so we will know if she is headed in a better direction. Thank you again to everyone keeping her in your thoughts!
