Looking for donations of puppy pads, cat biscuits/meat, insectapro, bugs (not worms) and 1ml syringes.. no one has to make a donation of these just want to stock up a bit have 2 baby blackbirds in my care currently if anyone has anything lying around would be greatful. Also looking for old blankets (soft) and handtowels,face clothes also and newspapers . I do get some of these things myself just wondering if anyone had any lying at home thanks all.

Very windy day today. Just remember I have a incubator so can take young chicks or eggs aswell as fledglings or adults. Remember not all fledglings need picked up so best to check in first before picking them up. Thank you

Very quiet page lately which is ok. Currently I have just a starling in who came in not a great state but over night had recovered. Will be set free sometime this week. Remember I can take Wild Bird eggs to if any are found.

Resharing this incase this bird was actually found

This beautiful bird has gone missing from the north end as he can lift up the door which is normally locked shut but someone took the lock part off. If you are near new world area or north end area please please please look out for him.. his name is Elmo and can say Peek a boo, what cha doing and others. he was handreared and quite tame but may not be for strangers. I ask everyone to please keep a eye out as we are really hoping he is ok so we can reunite him with his family and his Friend Zoe.

For those who have bird eggs (pet aswell) or chicken eggs etc. I currently have 3 incubators although I can't Lend these out I can incubate eggs for people whether hatching or wanting to hatch

MISSING COCKATIEL
Escaped from the cnr of Hull & Tamar St on Mon Feb 28 about 8:30pm. Flew in the direction of the cemetery but could be anywhere.
Hand reared so is used to people but is shy. Possibly may land near/ on humans. Likes to look at own reflection.
If sighted please call Lisa 0275142128 any time.

It's that time of year again. My page has been quite quiet but am still taking fledglings/nestlings and also some eggs if anyone comes across them. I currently have a couple of Blackbird fledglings that came in yesterday so far doing well. This wind is bound to knock a few down whilst flying fledgings don't need actual help just stand and watch to see if they are getting fed this may take a hour or so. Chicks that are semi feathered like the one in the pic can't get away as don't have enough feathers for flying so if they are little and have pink under the wings on the body don't hesitate to pick up these generally are targets these can be put in a ice cream container or similar attach to a tree . Unfortunately this one I didn't pick up yesterday and I can't find it yet... Today.

Can everyone keep a eye out for a green budgie that was sighted a couple of days ago up Selwyn/brinkburn st but maybe on another st can you message me if you have seen him he's normal green colour possibly seen on the roadside but can fly. Please get in touch thank you
