This past Mother’s Day, our beautiful Pug Rousey, gave birth to 7 incredible little pups. She’s a first time mom, and has taken motherhood with stride. (photo was taken right after births, hence the dirty whelping area, mom and babies got fresh linens shortly after. )

This beautiful girl was the last to be born the other night and came out completely unresponsive. Mom kept her in the birth canal a little to long as she was distracted by her other pups. After several minutes of some puppy CPR and stimulation, I finally got her breathing. She’s now one of the strongest of the litter, but still closely monitored. So happy 🙌
