Summer is looking for her furever home at foster home in Burnaby.

♡♡Meet sweet girl Summer♡♡
- 4-5 years old /21-22kg / 43-45lbs as of September 2024.

Summer was adopted by good family 3 years ago. But unfortunately, due to extraneous circumstances outside of their control, they can no longer fully take care of Summer. They asked us to help rehome summer so that she can be with a family that can spend time with her.

Has Summer changed since she was adopted out 3 years ago? Of course! Here’s how:
1. Summer was well exercised so she is quite athletic and strong.
2. Summer was already very friendly towards people and other dogs. She had a doggie sibling in her adoptive home, so she is even more used to other dogs and loves to play with them.
3. Summer's previous family trained her very well, she is super well behaved on leash and knows to heel and stop on command.
4. When summer was first adopted, she would chew on things around the house, but now that she is older and calmer, she does not do that any more. Additionally, since summers previous family gave her adequate exercise, she is very well behaved at home.
5. Summer regular receives the appropriate vaccinations, we will provide vet records to her new family.
6: Summer has been living in Canada for three years. She has adapted to the Canadian climate and environment. Therefore, as long as her new family is willing to give her patience and love, We believe that she does not need much time to adapt to her new home. She is in much better condition than when she first arrived in Canada. .

Even though we were saddened to hear that Summer needs to be rehomed, we know this was an extremely painful decision for Summer’s previous family. The one silver lining is that Summer is an amazing, well behaved pup. We want to find the best home for Summer that she deserves. Summer is currently at a foster home in Burnaby. Benny has been fostered in Vancouver. As soon as he arrived at the foster home, Benny happily greeted everyone ,he gets along well with the foster home's dog Furbe. Benny is really an excellent companion dog. He has the gentlest nature. He is very stable and calm.He loves people and other animals, he is the sweetest doggie. We welcome you to submit the application form to us. We will schedule a meeting for you and Benny as soon as possible. By the way, Benny is a medium-sized dog, he is not a large dog. Benny is very suitable for retirement groups to adopt him. As long as you interact with him in person, you will know how cute he is and how heartwarming he is. Benny was abandoned by his previous owner in March at the public shelter. The owner said that he could no longer afford to care for a dog. The public shelter is always very full and is an uncomfortable place for most dogs. Still, Benny wagged his tail and greeted the shelter workers everyday, everyone loved him. At the shelter, Benny was kennelled with 2 big dogs, they would bully Benny and take his food. One time, Benny even got injured from bites. The shelter workers reached out to us for help, to rescue this sweet boy from the horrible shelter environment. It has been 4 months since Benny has entered one of our foster homes, he has passed his health checkups, and gotten obedience and socialization training. We think Benny is ready to look for his forever home.

Benny has a very bubbly personality. He loves people and is friendly towards everyone. He also likes to play with other dogs. However, when faced with an aggressive or dominant male dog, Benny may show some insecurity and unfriendliness. Benny is very gentle and polite towards cats. He does not approach nor chase them. He does not mind if the cat comes close or hisses at him. Benny loves going for walks and hikes, we think he would make a great companion for retirees, since he is a great walking partner. Benny does not go potty indoors. He is already an adult dog so he is very much used to relieving himself outdoors. Benny loves treats, and he isn't food agressive towards people, he is super eager to learn new tricks for some yummy rewards and praise.

Benny is well behaved in the car, he will quietly enjoy the view or lie down to rest. He can even be crated in the car. He does not get car sick. Benny loves bath and actually loves to play in the water. He is well behaved during ear cleaning and nail trimming as well. Benny requires approximately 2 walks per day that are 40-60 minutes each. He was given free roam of his foster home, meaning he was not crated, and he was always very well behaved, never getting into anything he shouldn't. Benny truly is a sweet and well behaved adult dog.

Given that Benny is already 4-5 years old, we were shocked that he was so eager to learn new tricks and to obey the new people in his life. Even though he gets some puppy-like bursts of energy sometimes, he is very smart and loyal. He understands what his foster mom expects of him quickly and is eager to please. His good behaviour has been praised by everyone who meets him. Benny is an excellent companion and his size is suitable for joining the family on outdoor adventures or just relaxing at home. Hi, everyone
My name is Doudou, it's been 3 weeks since I arrived in Vancouver. I have settled in nicely in my foster home in Coquitlam. I get to go for daily walks and play with the other dogs in my foster home, Kelly and Angel. My foster parents have been taking such good care of me, even giving me some obedience training. I feel more confident already!

I was very anxious from my long flight from Taiwan, so when I first arrived in Vancouver, I was quite fearful and shy. But after a few days, I realized that I'm in a nice home with kind people who are happy to take care of me. I now feel comfortable enough to come out of my shell and say hi to strangers. I also like to meet other dogs! Although I haven't met my forever family yet, I am confident that they are out there. I can't wait to give them all of my love. Benny loves bath and actually loves to play in the water. He is well behaved during ear cleaning and nail trimming as well. Benny requires approximately 2 walks per day that are 40-60 minutes each. He was given free roam of his foster home, meaning he was not crated, and he was always very well behaved, never getting into anything he shouldn't. Benny truly is a sweet and well behaved adult dog.

Given that Benny is already 4-5 years old, we were shocked that he was so eager to learn new tricks and to obey the new people in his life. Even though he gets some puppy-like bursts of energy sometimes, he is very smart and loyal. He understands what his foster mom expects of him quickly and is eager to please. His good behaviour has been praised by everyone who meets him. Benny is an excellent companion and his size is suitable for joining the family on outdoor adventures or just relaxing at home. Meet sweetheart Doudou !!🥰🥰🥰
- 1 year old /13-14kg / 28-30lbs as of September 2024 (fully grown )
- Neutered male
- Terrier Mix
- Great with other dogs, cats, adults, strangers, gentle children

Doudou's previous owner kept him in a small cage all the time. The neighbour felt sorry for Doudou's awful living conditions so they called us to help rescue him. When we rescued Doudou, he was underweight and had some problems walking. After spending 2 months at his foster home and receiving some vet care, Doudou has gained weight and passed all of his health checkups. Doudou has also been neutered. He is healthy and happy now, and is ready to looking for his forever home.

Doudou is very friendly and sweet. Even when meeting strangers, he will be curious and want to get close to them. He gets along very well with all of the other dogs in his foster home. He does not resource guard and is super obedient. Our foster mom said he is a “star student”! Doudou loves going for walks, he loves to say hi to the dogs he meets outside. He also likes gentle kids, he will let them pet him. Sometimes Doudou will pull on the leash when walking, especially when he is very nervous or sees something new, most of the time, he walks very steadily. We recommend that future adoptive family can arrange training classes for Doudou, we believe he will improve quickly and get better and better.

Doudou is very polite towards cats (please see our videos to see Doudou interacting with a cat). He is quiet and well behaved in the car and will usually just take a nap. He does not get carsick. Doudou even enjoys bath time!! He is so well behaved even when getting his nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Doudou is quite clean, he knows how to use p*e pads indoors and knows to go potty outside. He really is a star student!

Doudou is usually quiet and doesn’t like to bark. But he will alert bark a couple times if he hears a strange noise or feels like there is danger. He likes to spend relaxation time with his foster mom at home. He is food motivated but he is not food agressive. If another dog takes his food he does not get mad. If you are looking to adopt a fur baby, one that will be a loving, well behaved companion, Doudou is an excellent choice. We are looking forward to receiving your application forms.
