Lina’s journey began under very difficult circumstances. Her mother, Anita, was kept by a hunter for hunting work and illegal breeding. After Anita gave birth to seven puppies, the hunter heartlessly abandoned the entire family in a remote mountain area. Against the odds, Anita bravely nursed and protected her babies until a kind woman found them and brought them to safety. Our rescue stepped in to care for Anita and her seven puppies, and since then we’ve been helping each of them find loving homes.
Among the litter, Lina stands out for her calm and steady temperament. She is affectionate with people, wonderful with children, and friendly with other dogs. She’s also gentle and polite with cats. Lina is exceptionally well-behaved, gentle-natured, and quick to learn.
She loves going for walks and absolutely adores dog parks where she can meet new friends. Lina never guards her food or toys—she’s happy to share and has a truly kind spirit. This makes her an ideal companion for families with other pets.
Lina is the perfect mix of playful and easygoing. Outdoors, she is an energetic and joyful adventure buddy—whether it’s hiking, camping, or joining friends for a doggy playdate. Indoors, she is calm, relaxed, and a wonderful family companion. She is friendly with strangers and happily interacts with people she meets for the first time.

Chilly arrived safely at Vancouver International Airport on the evening of August 31 and was warmly welcomed by our volunteers who brought him to his new home in North Vancouver. His adoptive family was overjoyed to meet him, and gentle, people-loving Chilly quickly settled in and won everyone’s hearts. We are so grateful to his family for opening their home and giving Chilly a life filled with love and warmth. Thanks to them, Chilly’s journey has taken a beautiful turn, and he now has the bright and happy future he truly deserves. 💖🙏💕🏠

Chilly’s journey began when he was just three months old, wandering the streets until a kindhearted rescuer saved him. Sadly, his first adopted home turned into a nightmare. Because his adopter suffered from mental illness, Chilly was cruelly beaten for being playful and energetic—his left hind leg was fractured, and his mouth was bound with wire, leaving a permanent scar across his nose where no hair will ever grow back.
But Chilly’s story is not one of tragedy—it’s one of resilience, love, and hope. After being rescued again, he underwent two surgeries, followed by over a year of rehabilitation and socialization. Despite all he endured, Chilly never lost his trust in people. In fact, he amazed us with his affectionate, stable, and gentle personality.

Chilly has now lived with us for over a year and a half, and in these 500+ days he has shown us nothing but kindness, patience, and love. He welcomes strangers with a wagging tail, accepts treats politely, and melts into your arms when you hug him. Even with our three rescued cats, Chilly has always been gentle—never chasing or harming them.
Despite the scars on his body, Chilly’s heart is whole and overflowing with love. We believe his wounds have already been healed by compassion, and now all he needs is a forever family who will continue to cherish and understand him.
Chilly is ready to bring sunshine, comfort, and unconditional love into the life of his future family. He may not look perfect because of the permanent scar on his nose, but through his kindness, bravery, strength, and the unwavering love he continues to give to humans, he shows us what true perfection really is.
