And that’s a wrap! 🎁

I don’t even know what to say… 🥹 Actually though, I’ve been trying to put all these emotions into words these past months and I’ve been speechless. The amount of support, love, and orders from y’all this holiday season just dumbfounded me!!🫶🏼 Thank you thank you thank you 🤗

I’ve been pretty MIA on here. I truly wish I was able to document more content. But no one wants to watch me in my dark dining room at 4am making orders lol 🤣
However, I will post in the new year with the very few photos & videos I did capture as I don’t want to post anyone’s gifts online a ruin Christmas 💚

I’ve learned a lot with this being my first actual holiday season. I’m BEYOND appreciative of everyone’s patience and glad that I was able to complete everything in time for y’all to receive your packages before Christmas (except the two that are delayed due to ferries 🙃 let’s hope they arrive!)

Things I’ve learned:
🤎 Create a cut off time (I am a one man show, gotta give myself more time)
🤎 Better routine for myself & Potato (between my full time job, small business, moving homes, and everything in between; it was unfair for Potato to be so off his regular routine)
🤎 Burning out ain’t cute (neither are the bags under my eyes the past 2 months)
🤎 Sleep is important (we’ll try that next time)
🤎 Fuel my body with food (there were many days I only ate a single hash brown)
🤎 💨 + ⛺️ = 👹👹 (iykyk)

Oakley has hot pawrents 😎🐾

High-key obsessed with how these turned out 😍

Every week I’ve been sending 10+ custom sweaters and I’m over the moon (and low-key overwhelmed lol) but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

It’s been a grind since we introduced the sweatshirts, between my full time job, house showings (yes, we’re moving! But still in town), and markets on the weekends however, it is filling my heart with so much joy and motivation to continue to bring more fun designs, colours and custom pet lover products! 🐶🤎

Since we did not want to bring Potato to America, Shane will be staying here. Shane will be at 🎃Tails and Treats🎃 in Oakville this Saturday from 10-4. This is his first market alone so if you see him be patient and tell him he’s doing a great job!! 😄 Shane might do a insta story takeover so that should be interesting lol. He might even win employee of the month. But who knows, there are just SO many candidates🧐🤷🏼‍♀️!

Happy 🇨🇦 Thanksgiving! 🦃

This weekend we were at ’s DOGtoberfest and it was such a fun time! 🥨🍻 It was truly amazing to be at a local market; it felt like forever since we’ve done one!

I’m forever thankful for you all! Without y’all Potato & Co wouldn’t be anything but an idea in my notebook. So, thank you! I will be forever grateful for y’all! The amount of dogs I saw walking around DTK with Potato & Co items was insane! I honestly could not believe it, I kinda still think it was a dream! 😅

Potato DID make an appearance while we were setting up; just before he headed to the cottage with Shane for the weekend! 🥹 Can’t wait to see them later today! 🤗

Today’s a day to remind yourselves of how thankful and grateful you are. Although we do not need a holiday to do this. I know there are times that it can be hard to count your blessings. However, there is always at least one thing to be grateful for. Cherish that one thing and hug your loved ones tight. Tomorrow and the future is not promised. Be grateful for the things and/or people you have now in your life. 🫶🏼

P.S., this stone complete set went to the Yukon! Potato & Co has officially reached a Northern Territory! So that was pretty neat!

Hi, I’m Leja! Or “Potato’s mom”, as many of you know me as! I’ve realized I never introduced myself on here but I’ve met many of you in person; so here we go! 🤗

🌸FUN FACTS🌸

🌸HOW IT ALL STARTED🌸

Potato & Co. = “Potato” (my dog) & “Co.” (me), hehe!

On July 28th 2023, I thought of this small business and said, what the hell do I got to lose! Let’s try it out! Then in December 2023 we officially opened & it’s been a wild ride! Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

🌸WHAT INSPIRED ME TO START POTATO & CO.🌸

I noticed that pet accessories that would match my personal style and home aesthetic were extremely overpriced and that’s IF I was even able to find anything to complement my aesthetic! I made it my mission to try to bring down the costs as much as I possibly could. And I will continue to do so through product prices and shipping rates.

I also could not for the life of me find a harness that fits Potato properly; as he is smaller at neck and larger at the chest/stomach. His neck is a small and his chest/stomach is a medium. I added extra buckles so that the back piece of the harness could flip 180° , giving you different dimensions for the perfect fit. This meant, Potato and many other dogs that have similar size issues, should be able to fit in my harnesses. & yes, Potato wears his harness flipped so that the neck is smaller and the chest/stomach area is larger!

I love attending events/markets and meeting all you beautiful people! If you’re lucky, you might run into Potato! He does not enjoy busy environments (we’re working on that), but he occasionally pops in to say hello! If you have stopped by my booth before, you’ve probably seen my boyfriend, Shane (unless he’s napping); he loves to tag along and be apart of my journey! We hope to see you at your local dog events & regular human events!
