Hi, we’re Gina & Ria - a mother & daughter cat-sitting duo.

We unintentionally fell into the wonderfully rewarding world of pet- sitting, after selling all our possessions to become digital nomads in June 2022.

We set off for what has been one of the best adventures of our lives, spending time in Thailand, Vietnam, Mauritius, Malaysia & the Canary Islands.

Last year we joined a housesit site and have fallen in love with so many cats that we are now completely hooked.

Gina is a retired teacher, author of 3 poetry and 1 short story book and a Happiness Coach.

Ria is an Empath coach, meditation teacher and Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner.

We are both vegan, animal lovers and reiki practitioners.

it can naturally trigger feelings of stress, confusion or sadness within us,
which the animal then picks up on
exacerbating the situation.

EFT can help to stop this cycle and help you better support your pet.

It will help you deal with your own stress (or fear) so it’s easy for you to stay calm and therefore have a calming effect on your pet.
But it also helps you to stay centred and clear-headed. When we are centred and clear-headed our intuition naturally kicks in and it’s easier to understand what our pet is trying to communicate, the source of their challenge and how we can best help them.

We love cats and it’s been an absolute pleasure to care for such a diverse mix of kitties on our cat-sitting journey.

We’ve looked after young cats, older cats, cats that require medication (including insulin injections), blind cats, deaf cats, tripods, cats with behavioural issues, the adventurous and the timid, and also strays in Cyprus.

Each and every cat is unique and has a special place in hearts ♥️

Cyprus, the island of cats, has more cats than people.

We were lucky enough to spend 2 months housesitting on this beautiful island and met many a stray kitty who we could easily have taken home (had we a permanent base).
