Hobby farming in rural Montana
In July of 2017 we were fortunate enough to purchase our dream property! 20 acres in Paradise Valley, Montana just north of Yellowstone National Park. Chelsea was an Animal Science Pre-Vet major in College and John was a Poultry Science major; so we both have always had a love for animals. Our dream is to create a place where we can utilize our land and animals to encourage healthier and happier living. We both grew up in cities and have found that moving to Montana has made us appreciate the simple life more by spending time outside with our animals and working with our hands. Currently we raise American Dairy Goat Association registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and a handful of chickens. Spring 2019 will be our first year birthing goat babies on the farm and we can’t wait to share this experience with our friends and followers.
