Car ride because it's too hot for a walk! We will walk in a couple hours once it cools off, but for now, we go for a car ride!

Pet sitting Koko and Duke again! Haven't seen these guys since last year! They were very happy to see me!

I offer In Home Pet Sitting to select clients. Usually in the Frisco, The Colony, Plano, Richardson, Rowlett, Garland, Wylie, Carrollton, Lewisville, Coppell and anywhere somewhat close to those areas! I offer it at the same rate of $50 per dog per night as I do for Pet Boarding!

Did a follow up with Cinnamon today! Board and Trains only work if you keep up with the owner and work with them until they understand the material. If not then you are just wasting your and their time

This is Nala! When at the vet go ahead and practice some obedience! By teaching the place command you can place them on the scale, on the benches and even on the exam table. It makes examining them so much easier. Instead of forcing and scaring the dog to get on the scale, you can simply ask them to get up there. If you've practiced it enough, they will happily comply!

Rocky was a dog that was surrendered to me about 2 years ago because he just couldn't get along with the cats in the house. Mom would try to walk him but she had medical issues and he likes to pull a lot. He was surrendered with the hopes of training him up and finding him a home without cats. I did just a few short months later and he got a home with a German Shepherd sister! He and her are now inseparable!
This is some training we did out at the park. I do believe this was our first outing together.

Came out to do some desensitization with Laney. It took awhile before she opened up but finlu she did. Once she started taking treats I knew she had calmed at least a bit. I took it a bit too far when I got out of the vehicle and she clamed back up again. I tried waiting but she wouldn't touch the treats. Mind you she was still in the cat. I got back in and it took her quite sometime to get back to taking treats again. When she finally did I closed the door (which she is so much better when the door is closed)
Then she looked happy again when I got back in the driver seat so I gave her a treat. She then started doing tricks! I rewarded a lot Then we stopped and headed home.

This was seconds after she was dropped off with me 3 years ago. She lunged after myself and Rowdy. I took her from the mom and just started working her. She eventually calmed down and I was at to handle and walk her easily. This is Kata the people aggressive german shepherd that was surrendered to help me find a better home for, which I eventually did 3 or 4 months later

A week after getting Kata she took her first public trip! I put a "do not pet" vest on her to avoid people coming up to us. She was stressed as it was her first outing, but ended up doing great for a first time!

The day I got Kata! This was about 6 years ago. She wanted to rip my head off when we first met! She lunged after myself and Rowdy. We started a 3 month journey together and made great progress! She was surrendered to me to help find her a home, which we eventually did!

Us out at the park working with Rex this very people reactive dog 3 years ago. To combat the aggression I worked on building eye contact and engagement. Basically teaching him that when he sees people, good things will happen. If you always or only correct the dog when they see their triggers, you only validating their fears. If you give them a no, you have to give them a yes as well!

My next available Board and Train is July 25th! Get your reservations in as I only take in one dog at a time.
I offer two different programs. A Basic Obedience Program that lasts 2 weeks, and an Advanced Off Leash Program that lasts 3 weeks. Let me know if you need any help with Basics Obedience and manner, or you want to let your pup off leash and they come back everytime you call them!

Some obedience work with Cinnamon! If he doesn't perform the command, Laney gets the treat! Mwa-ha-ha-ha! Also here I am working on some negative reinforcement, meaning putting pressure on him when he gives the middle finger. I release the pressure when he starts to do as asked.
