Training can come in many forms!
Today with sunflower we worked on her fear of the dreaded vacuum cleaner. Working on a down while the vacuum was on and running made her split her focus between mom and vacuum but also worked on positive reinforcement that yes the vacuum makes a scary noise but it’s all good!!

Today I started working with this angel face. 😍
Her name is Hazel!
We have our work cut out for us with this one but Hazel is incredibly intelligent and will have a handle on this training thing in no time!

I love getting updates! For some this may not seem like a big deal but this is HUGE!
Scout has come so far and still has the ability to learn even more!

When I started with Andy 6 weeks ago no one would have guessed we would be doing this today.
Andy had just about no exposure as a pup with his previous owner. Unfortunately, he then assumed everyone that he saw with his new owners was a threat and he had a fear based reaction. Again simply due to lack of exposure.
We have worked on cutting reactions, exposure and acceptance that his owners are in control and he is safe.
Today Andy worked his butt off at Lowe’s and absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. The only thing he had a minor reaction to was a gentleman running in the store. However, with a quick “leave it” and redirection his handler got him back asap!
I am SO proud of Andy and the amount of work his owners have put in!
Good job, Andy!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

14 minutes into our lesson and Ziggy was already nailing his newest command!
This little pup just continues to amazes us all.

When something your client has been working on finally clicks you get a very happy video! 😍
Jasmine had anxious ideals about car rides and today it finally clicked for her that car rides are a good thing and car rides get her pup cups! Yay!!

Andy has made a tremendous turn around in all areas of his training but one of his little humans is now able to work with him! In Andy’s more axnious moments his little human is able to “place” him to give him a positive timeout which helps relax him!

Ziggy has a lot of helping hands in this household and they like to partake in training which is wonderful!! If everyone that is capable to have a hand in training does have a hand in training then the dog understands he/she needs to listen to everyone in the household!

It makes me so happy to see clients putting in WORK and practicing! The more you train the more the dog is expected to listen and mind throughout the day. The mental stimulation is just a bonus! And might I add that Ziggy is only two months old. 🥰

Scout has only had one lesson with me. During that lesson she was a terrible walker, listening was non existent and her commands were not up to par. One lesson in, several adjustments being made and her owner putting in WORK, Scout has made a lot of progress in just one week!
She, like so many other pups, has so much potential it just hadn’t been tapped yet!

Logan, Logan, Logan. Where to begin! Logan was a rescue who was given the BEST home. Unfortunately Logan had very low exposure to males and had anxiety about his surroundings and things he didn’t understand.
Logan is extremely smart and lovable but had a fear of males simply due to that lack of exposure. It has taken a long time and work to get Logan to this point but this is my husband with Logan in Logan’s home which may not seem like a big deal to some but Logan is very protective and again had a fear so this was actually a huge deal!!!
After a few lessons we were able to trust him off leash with an unknown male in his own home.
We did controlled exposure with positive reinforcement!
Logan and family I am so proud of all of the progress y’all have made!!!

I always expect a high level of intelligence from a poodle but Ziggy (Toy Poodle) has surpassed my expectations! He is only 2 months old!!!!
His fur momma and daddy are killing it with training and Ziggy is able to handle everything we throw at him.

I LOVE getting videos from clients working on their training!
Russ and Nina are polar opposites in size but they have sweetness, intelligence and spunkiness in common!
I’m proud of these pups but they wouldn’t be where they are without their humans putting in work! ❤️

Knots has only been with his new family for 2 months. Within that small time span he has blossomed tremendously!! His biggest obstacle is self control around other dogs but he has come so far in a short amount of time! Knots can handle anything we throw at him and we are so proud of his progress so far!

I don’t get the pleasure of working with too many Cane Corsos so to be able to work with two in the same house hold is beyond exciting!! Meet Tank and Artemis! I’m pumped to see their progress through the next coming weeks!

Nina is as spunky as they come!! She won me over as soon as I saw and heard her.
Nina is also craaaazy smart. She’s only 3 months old and is a typical puppy but she’s also getting a jump start on restraint.
The video below is only her THIRD attempt at a stay while in the kennel before being released to be free.
