In an aim to achieve the mission of Rotary under the motto of "service above self", the club has conducted many projects, some of which have become annual projects, such as:

4- Revolving microfinance loan with the Aqaba Women's association

Club projects included social, environmental and health projects such as:
- Adopt-a-School Library initiative, 2010
- Cycle Tour, Rome - Mecca, 2007 to 2009
- Bird Sanctuary project in Aqaba, 2004 to 2008
- 1st Rotaract Clubs Retreat in Jordan, 2008
- Operation Smile - Jordan North Region Mission, 2009
- Reduce Child Mortality Project with Operation Smile Jordan, 2009
- Wheel Chair support, 1998 & 2004- 2005
- School bags for students, 1998
- Green Houses Project in Sheikh Hussein area, 1998
Over the years, the club has succeeded in chartering a Rotaract Club in 2006 and an Interact Club in 2008. The youth within these clubs continuously conduct social projects as well as work within the district. The members of Rotary Club of Amman West have also been active within the Rotary Foundation and have acquired more than 21 Paul Harris Fellows.

افتتحت صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة بسمة بنت علي مؤتمر الروتاري الحادي عشر لمنطقة 2452 يوم الخميس في حفل كبير في فندق سانت ريجيس في عمان. وشهد الحدث حضور 355 مشاركاً مسجلاً من البحرين و الإمارات العربية المتحدة ولبنان وقبرص وجورجيا وأرمينيا والأردن وفلسطين، بالإضافة إلى كبار الشخصيات المحلية والدبلوماسيين والضيوف.
وشارك جمعية روتاري عمان غرب خلال الثلاثة ايام .
The 11th Rotary District 2452 Conference was officially opened on Thursday by HRH Princess Basma Bint Ali in a grand ceremony at the St. Regis Hotel in Amman. The event saw 355 registered attendees from Bahrain, UAE, Lebanon, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, Jordan, and Palestine, as well as local dignitaries, diplomats, and guests.
The 11th District 2452 conference brings together brilliant minds with a common goal: "Creating Hope in the World." This year's District Conference. Think Green, Live Green. Together, we can achieve limitless good in the world.

🌍Rotary Clubs of Jordan Celebrate World MS day
Yesterday May 28, 2024, several Rotary clubs in Jordan and in collaboration with Novartis Pharmaceuticals celebrated the World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day. World MS Day is an international awareness day for all involved in MS to share stories, raise awareness and campaign for change. It is officially marked on 30th of May yearly.
The celebration was highlighted by a speech given by Dr. Maurice Dahdaleh; a well-recognized Jordanian neurologist who presented a considerable crowd of Rotarians with facts of MS history and prospects of successful treatment, in simple words that non-medical people could easily understand.
Rotary’s work to fight Polio is well recognized internationally, however, many projects that were funded by The Rotary Foundation were also concerned with MS research and treatment. Ideas to support MS patients in Jordan and Palestine will be put forward for consideration by the Rotary Clubs.
The meeting was headed by Mrs. Lubna Fakhoury, President of RCA Ammon and addressed by the District Governor Mr. Bashar Haddad who highlighted the mission of Rotary in the world and in our District 2452 in particular.

"Times have changed and a Sports career is financially feasible, if you really work on it & Im proud to say that I worked hard and now Im reaping my efforts" Captain Mahmoud Abdeen started his talk in the Rotary Joint meeting of RC Amman Philadelphia, Amman West, Amman Ammon, & Amman Capital and attended by the District Governor Bashar Haddad . The former captain of the Jordanian basketball team enlightened fellow Rotaraians on new practices and why he chose the number Zero .. A very enlightening meeting were DG Bashar provided all with an update on District projects to be completed in Gaza. Thank to all who attended.

Rotary Club of Amman West jointly with Rotary Clubs with clubs of Amman Jordan River, Amman Ammon, Amman Capital & Jordan Eco hosted Dr. Mohammed Hajjiri a renowned cardiologist and the previous director of Interventional Electrophysiology at Ohio Health Medical Center on Wednesday January 17th ... All rotary members and guests enjoyed a dynamic and informative session on Cardiovascular diseases and good practices to ensure good LDL and Cholesterol. During the session the Presidents all the clubs thanked both the speaker and the sponsor by Novaris.
Thanks to your generous support, Rotarians in Jordan joined hands to aid Gaza's residents. Teaming up with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), essential relief reached those in need. Our hearts are with our familes and friends in Gaza during this challenging period 🙏🕊
