A beautiful couple drove a distance to meet Domino, a reserved but lovable boy who slowly revealed his authentic self. They spent considerable time familiarizing themselves with him, and ultimately elected to expand their Calgary family by welcoming him into their loving home. 🥰

Look at this happy boy!!😍
This is Domino, he is an F1B Aussiedoodle (75% Poodle 25% Australian Shepherd)
His current weight is 36lbs.

Just received his 5th haircut today!! You can really see his brindle showing through now!

Comes from clear (breed specific) genetic tested lines.

We will update his status on Friday!!

Asher's journey to find his forever family has been a long and winding road, but today he finally found his perfect match! A loving family came to visit and Asher won their hearts with his playful and affectionate nature. He didn't bark once, instead choosing to shower them with love and cuddles. Asher and his new family are ecstatic, and they can't wait to welcome him into their home with open arms. 🥰

What we know about this boy:
Medium size aussiedoodle with a poodle frame. An F1B aussiedoodle = 75% poodle & 25% australain shepherd, creating the low/non-ahedding qualities.
No up-to-date weight, guesstimate 30+lbs
Very social
Likes to explore, touch things with his mouth including my fingers
Has been sleeping in a kennel at night since about 7 months of age
Uses a doggy door
Play style with his brother is chase’n bark
He knows how to sit, look at me wait ✌️ for my hand queues 👌 to eat his food.
He’s excited in the am to get out of his kennel therefore is barking to greet me and tell me to hurry up to let him out.
Has made some improvements with his bark-excitableness and quiet out side exploring on the acreage. There is some initial barking till he exerts some energy. Comes and touches base with me. Leans on me wanting attention amd petting. Sometimes i think he telling me to hurry up and feed me breakfast!!
Additional Info
What we are seeking for Asher:
Preference for single, couple, or family with older children (teens)
Asher would be best suited to be the only dog in a family at this time….
A Single/family that is dedicated to a training regiment that may also require assistance of a dog trainer and or classes.
A family that has a love for dogs; positivity & patience with ability to be calm as dogs can sense much; new ideas and while working through to developing Asher’s best doggy self.
He is a good pup and very smart and has the capacity to learn.
What we are working on now is his method of communication where we can redirect and tone down excitement barking. This is really his only quirk. To add a little more info or reiterate: barking wanting out of his kennel, barking in anticipation of meal time, barking only while in chase mode of his brother Domino. ( Domino also needs a home)
Please research, arrange a phone-call with me, talk to a trainer, have that trainer talk with me.
Placement in a new home will significantly change certain aspects with no other dogs to have access to, therefore changing dynamics. Makes for a great clean starting point.
Seeking permanent placement.

As spring approaches in Alberta, our acreage will transition from dry icing sugar like dirt to mud.
It is also time to groom our dogs' longer coats. We hope there will be no more cold snaps.
