Raindrop kicked off the day (at 1AM) with twins - one buckling (conveniently named after the winter storm we just had - Thormund) & one doeling (Chione). She cloned herself in both of them & they are sooo adorable!

Idamay gave us a nice refreshing textbook delivery that was quick! We thank her for it too!! 😘

IdaMay earned her dry leg at her very first show and also took Best Jr Doe in show the same day!
Prince Jacobs has some pretty incredible siblings, we own a couple one being elite 5* M AR Denbow Acres Keepsake VEEE90, another that comes in to mind is owned by Haymaker Farm 5* M AR GCH (pending) Denbow Acres PT Gypsy she’s an Elite doe at 2 years old!!

Sprite🥤 kidded yesterday afternoon with twin bucklings, both super tiny peanuts and one especially needing a lot of TLC. With the hot water “bath” we were able to get Mudstones temperature from 82 this morning up to 103. He’s now just hanging out under the heated blanket with his brother (Mudslide). Both seem to be doing better. Tim and I were talking this morning about how our tiny humans LOVE when there are goats in the house…but if there’s a goat in the house it’s never for a good reason :( I dread the day they understand when an animal is sick & not just sleepy. Hopefully these two will put on some weight and we can return them to their mama ❤️ Sprite is probably the best first freshener we’ve ever had. She’s sooo patient, even despite having to pull both of her kids. She’s let me get colostrum from her several times - really easy to hand milk, super attentive to her kids. Went RIGHT UP onto the milk stand & let me milk her this morning with the machine!! 🥛 Just so impressed with her. Please send all of the good vibes our way so we can hopefully return her two kids to her soon!! ❤️🐐❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along today to support the Good Friday Appeal! It was a beautiful (and very busy!) morning. Little Dusty is fast becoming known for his amazing chilled out cuddles!

Well I would love to keep all three doelings of Skwest RK Cocoa Crisp barn name SK (TUA Farms AC Rocket *B x 98% elite Southside Rice Crispy) sired by GTB BH Hart Throb *B ( GCH Old mountain Farm Bold Hart X SG Old Mountain Farm Cass Quinn) so I’m thinking 2 of them will be looking for new bucket fillers or bottle holders.
SK is a 1X JGCH, BJDIS and JRGCH
Throb was 4th place Jr get a sire at nationals last year
These kids just ooozzzeeee dairyness! Their skin is so stretch and velvety 😍 you really just gotta put your hands on them. All three have very strong top lines, really pretty front ends ( like Sk) and great width throughout, and great depth of body as well.

Celebrating 2 years with Dottie today!
Dottie was born in 2022 to mom “Hammy”, a mini Nubian and dad “Wally” (our only buck, a Nigerian dwarf - of Florence Bank 2024 calendar fame 🙃).
Dottie is sweet and steady just like her mama and, as the youngest in the group, she goes with the flow of the goat girl gang in the back barn. 🐐

On 3/9 Ireland Acres Toffee, My beautiful Harley, kidded 2D 1B! All kids are retained or spoken for!
And this afternoon (3/11) Padme kidded BIG ol B/D twins. Buckling decided to be tail first breech, but after I got one rear leg everything went smooth. Doeling came soon after with ease. They are 4 and 6 pounds, and I truly have bo idea where she was hiding those giants as she wasn’t huge.

We have one left to kid for March Denbow Acres “Meso” Pretty 7*M which was bred to The Rz Acres Barna Bee*B. Sooo I’m thinking she’s gonna release the beasts very soon !
Thennnn we have 8 does in April thennnn we’re done until fall! These girls short cycled on me a couple of time so my breeding schedule is all out of wack. We’ve been check these gals day and night for what feels like weeks. 😵💫
