Every spring, my training calendar fills up fast and it’s usually for the same reason.

That “cute puppy” is now 5–6 months old:
• Bigger
• Stronger
• More confident
• And testing every boundary

By this point, many owners realize they didn’t take the right steps early on to prevent bad habits and now the puppy stage feels out of control.

The truth is:
👉 Training early is easier
👉 Training later is still possible, but takes more work

This is why I strongly encourage owners to plan ahead and secure training before things escalate.

If you’re thinking, “I’ll wait and see how it goes,” spring has a way of sneaking up quickly.

If you will or have brought home a Christmas puppy, you’re probably realizing by now that the excitement comes with a lot of challenges.
