What I would do to have you back. She was the best dog I've EVER had and honestly the best I'll ever have. She's made an impact on so many people, from blue sky farms, to my training clients, to my kids. I miss her so much every day. I still say good night to her every night.

My incredible cousin in law made this painting. It really brings it all together.

Meet Maverick!

Maverick is a rescue Chihuahua all the way from Texas!

If you decide to come into his house, he thinks he's a big ole guard dog, but once he warms up to you, he's the sweetest cuddle bug!

Being a rescue that was dumped on the side of the road, he's very wary of new things, which is completely understandable! So my job is to get him exposed to as many things as possible in a positive manner to build his confidence and learn how to control his emotions.

Look at this absolutely precious boy! The most beautiful coloring!

Loki is a Husky mix (unknown), rescue! He has definitely started to show his personality as of late. All the typical puppy attributes is what we're working on! Mainly working on being able to control his excitement (impulse control). His owners definitely want the best for him.

Loki is an incredibly smart pup. Almost too smart😂 and had been an absolute blast to train!

Chance & Gumbo!

Two of the sweetest babies! They came from the same mother and are experiencing Littermate syndrome. Nothing I can't handle! They act exactly like human brothers. Always trying to out-do each other. It really just comes down to setting strict boundaries and correcting and rewarding the behaviors.

Once you get to know them, they're really sweet dogs, just intimidating at first!

We're only 2 lessons in and we're starting to see some improvement. Can't wait to see where we are in week 10!

Positive reinforcement!! You NEED to praise your dog when they do something we are asking them to do! There's no quicker way to train them without some sort of positive reinforcement. With most dogs we use treats! But some dogs aren't treat motivated, and would much rather have a pet on a the butt! Whatever works!

Always accompany a positive reinforcement with a "good x" x= command. ie: Good sit, good heal, good stay. They already know what good dog/boy/girl/name means! So use that to your advantage when training!

Meet Ruby!

Ruby is a 3 year old German Shepherd and I've been training her since she was just 12 weeks old! You never really know what you're going to get with a German Shepherd puppy, so her owners wanted to set up a good foundation for long term success.

We have done a lot of work over the past few years, including all of the basics (sit, down, stay, wait), a lot of heal work, a fast recall, thorough socialization with dogs and people. Ruby loves to travel and see her family all over the states and is pretty much always off leash!

Today, Ruby is an incredibly happy girl and will come say to everyone she meets! Ruby has really become a part of our family!

Ruby's parents are a great example of what you can achieve with your dog when you take the time and put in the effort to train your dog.

Meet Molly!

Molly is a 3 month old Lab out of Virginia Beach. Molly came to me needing help with learning how to be a well mannered pup!

We all know the struggles of getting a puppy. Constant teething (on literally everything 🤣), jumping, crate training, and potty training. Fun times! Molly has been a DREAM to work with. She's an incredibly calm pup who loves to please her owner, so training has been very easy!

So far we've learned how to walk on a leash, sit, down, stay (still working on that one 😂) and how to be gentle when getting wound up!

We're slowly starting to socialize her with other dogs, people and new places. If you see us out and about, come say hi!
