I was contacted by a local vet I know about two puppies that had been abandoned at a business and asked if I would take them into the rescue❤️ obviously they are so cute, I said yes. Well, just as quickly as Cinnamon and Freckles came in to Loves Legacy, they came out with two amazing homes❤️ thank you too for always stepping up to Foster last minute. I couldn’t do this without the support of my Foster Fams. We love you, cinnamon and freckles! you both hit the jackpot with the most amazing families.❤️

Astro is safe from SEAACA, but unfortunately his immune system as taken quite a hit😪 We got him to the vet and started on antibiotics right away because he coughs so hard he chokes. His kennel cough is so bad it’s on the verge on pneumonia! Another day in the shelter could have been detrimental to his health. So far the three out of the four dogs we rescued from SEAACA are sick😪. Astro, Skippy, and Niko all have severe kennel cough. Pumpkin who we also rescued seems to be doing okay for now. They will be okay with love, antibiotics and time🙏 PLEASE DONATE!!!! Thank you everyone for making rescuing them possible!

Skippy is SAFE!!!! We last minute got a foster offer for another dog and was also able to take skippy from the shelter this morning before he was euthanized! FOSTERING SAVES LIVES!

Skippy was surrendered to the shelter by his family last week and exposed to Parvo so instantly he was set to be euthanized. It’s clear his family never took care of him anyways. He is in desperate need of a grooming and he is going to the Vet ASAP!

this guy is so loving and so sweet! He’s going to make a great addition to someone’s family!

YAY BLOSSOM!!!! She has found an amazing forever family in Washington❤️ We rescued her from Merced Shelter where her and her brother were brought in as strays. Her brother unfortunately didn’t make it out of the shelter alive because they needed his kennel space💔 We saved Blossom with moments to spare because she got a foster offer in Washington! There is no doubt she would have been killed without that foster offer. Fostering is SO IMPORTANT because it gives a dog that is set to be killed a chance to have the life they would have never had the opportunity to have. Blossom so deserves all the happiness coming her way!!!! We love you Blossom!!!!!

Estelle has found her forever home in Marin County❤️🥹 she has the most amazing new mom, dad and brother named buddy! I cried happy tears multiple times during her drop off because I am just SOOOO happy for her! Another bonus is she lives about a mile away from me!!!!!!! I could not be more happy and relieved for our sweet girl Estelle❤️ Her whole family ended up at Lancaster High Kill Shelter where they were set to be euthanized. We saved them all with out much of a plan and she is the first to be adopted! ❤️

We LOVE you Estelle!!!!!!! Your new life is one of our favorites!!!!!!

WE NEED MEDICAL DONATIONS ASAP!!!!! TOFFEE IS HEADING INTO EMERGENCY SURGERY ONCE HES STABILIZED🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘

IT’S A MIRACLE😭😭😭😭 After almost 4 months of Toffee escaping from a trainers house and going missing he was able to trap him!!!!!!!!!!!! He was spotted hanging out near an abandoned mansion out in the desert hills of Lancaster. It was found he’s been living in that mansion and that is how he survived!!!! He’s In really bad shape and getting checked into the emergency vet right now covered in wounds after being attacked!!! Please donate!!!!!!!!! Updates to come!!!!!

Junie has been ADOPTED!!!!!!!🤍🖤🤍🖤 Our sweet deaf baby girl Junie has found her forever home with her new Mama!! Junie had a rough start to life after being dumped with her siblings and ending up in a high kill shelter. We are so glad to be apart of her story and grateful that her new mom was up for the challenge of raising a deaf dog. Junie is the sweetest girl and deserves the world! We are so happy we were able to give that to her❤️ We love you Junie!

Kai is something truly special. This stunning 6-year-old husky mix was on the verge of being euthanized at SEAACA in California, but now he has a chance to find the loving home he’s always deserved. Kai may be a bit older, but his calm, gentle spirit and stunning looks make him a treasure waiting to be discovered.

Kai walks beautifully on a leash and is very friendly with people. He is not reactive to dogs that bark at him during walks or behind fences. He is still learning how to play with dogs and does best with slow introductions.

This majestic guy absolutely adores being loved on, and it’s clear that affection is something he’s missed out on in his life. He loves cuddling on the floor next to you while you work or watch a show.

Kai hasn’t had an easy life, but it’s not too late to change that. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will fill your heart with joy, Kai is the one. He’s ready to share his gentle, beautiful soul with the right family, and he deserves nothing less than the best in his next chapter.

Ranger is officially off the market!!!!! He's been adopted by the sweetest Couple out in West Marin🏡❤️ from Southgate to Marin County, this boy sure got an upgrade!!! He'll be living with his new family out in Fairfax, going on lots of adventures and getting all the love!!! We are so happy for Ranger and so grateful we were able to save him!!! In honor of Ranger getting adopted we are asking for a donation so we can save another dog in need just like Ranger!!!!! We couldn't be more thrilled for Ranger's new life❤️❤️❤️

Meet our new 8 week old Husky babies!!
Aurora, Blaze, Winter, Aspen and Stormy!
They are all females except for Blaze.

These babies were found as strays out in San Bernardino and needed help urgently. A woman who runs a small dog rescue out in San Bernardino took them in temporarily until more help was found. reached out to us and we agreed to take them. We drove down to San Bernardino this weekend to pick them up and brought them up to Sonoma county to find their forever homes❤️

Well guys, MIKA HIT THE JACKPOT and we are pretty sure her new dad feels the same!🥹 We are so happy to announce that Mika has been officially adopted by her foster dad ❤️ Mika, formally Elsa, was found injured as a stray with a broken leg and wood chips embedded in her skin. She was brought to Riverside high kill shelter where she sat and waited to be killed. We rescued her moments before she was going to be euthanized I wasn't even sure that the shelter had received our request to save her. The stars aligned that day and we got a last-minute temp foster offer from and the shelter got back to us saying she was still alive! 🙌 We were so relieved☺️ Days after this her future new Dad reached out to us saying he had heard about us from a friend and was looking for a husky and could foster! Elsa was on the for front of my mind since I had pulled her without a long term plan. I thought hey this might be perfect, well turns out I was right!! ❤️

We love you so much Mika and we are so happy we were able to give you the best life ever!!❤️🙏

MEET TANK!!! He is truly a little tank😂 He is just a little seven week old pup that was found as a stray on a dairy farm. When he showed up at Stanislaus Shelter Ellas foster reached out to me asking if we could save him in honor of Ella🌈🕊️
Of course, the answer was YES!! Welcome to Loves Legacy Rescue Tank❤️ We are going to make sure you find the best home🙌

Our viral superstar, Lucky, who has now beaten all odds of survival, including being found after being dumped by her owner with a tummy full of dead puppies, cancer, Pyometra, stump Pyometra, giardia that lasted months, stones in her bladder and a URI. after all she's gone through the odds of her getting adopted were slim so she's now a resident loves legacy dog. She needs our help again! Our poor old lady is now in end-stage glaucoma😪 we are going to do the right thing for her and get her eye removed so she's not in any more pain. Dogs with severe glaucoma typically have very high eye pressure; a dilated, unmoving or slow-moving pupil; redness in the white of the eyes; swelling and discoloration of the cornea; and a firm eye globe. This can cause a severe amount of pain similar to a migraine.
I posted the estimate on the last slide. Please if you can help donate it would be so appreciated so we can get Lucky the help she needs🙏

Baby Oreo got adopted❤️❤️ We are so happy for him and his new family! Oreo was given to a 8th grade boy by a stranger out at a river one day. A friend reached out to us to see if we could take him and I said of course. Look how cute he is. He got adopted very fast and we are so happy for him!
