Well it’s been a while since I posted as I have been so busy this past month, and I may have forgotten that I had this page 🙈😆

So baby Missy Moo has had a great start to her competition career under saddle with two outings to Vectis Dressage where she placed 1st 🥇 and 2nd 🥈 both times in Intro tests. Both times she behaved impeccably and almost forget she’s still a baby! 💖

Clients pony Troy also came to both events, being his first shows under saddle. He placed 1st 🥇 in his first show doing one Intro test. His second outing I felt he was ready for Prelim. He did one of the Itro tests winning with over 74%!! He then went on to win Prelim 7 with 70% 🥇🥇. We are over the moon with Troy seeing as 3 months ago he was napping constantly in the school.

I also took a trip to Thorney Island EC with Clients 2 yr old, April for an in-hand show. April hasn’t been out since the end of last summer and she behaved amazingly as always to bring home a Reserve Champoin. 🏆

I myself have also decided I need to be fitter and lose some of the Christmas timber and have gone back to the gym 🏋️💪
For those of you who don’t know me, I used to compete in bodybuilding/fitness model competitions and be very much a gym rat as they say! 🤣

Oh and I thought I’d have a jacket with my business embroidered on to create a more professional look 👀

I had Dan Noyes Equine Therapies come and visit Missy today for a massage. She was such a good girl for him and he got to work on her tight shoulders which will hopefully help with her stretching down under saddle. No tightness through her back which is great to hear after being backed 🙂
Definitely recommend Dan for your equines and yourselves! I’ve been using Dan for myself and back when I was bodybuilding and he works wonders!!

So this past week I have been getting over falling off (I was a bit sore for a few days 🙈)
I have done my regular care jobs for clients, mucking out, hay and feeding and also helping with vet visits and convalescence care.

I was especially proud of Troy who I ride once a week and teach also.
From the previous video of Troy napping when I first rode him, he is now schooling beautifully and we had a little jump. He has come on so much in a short period of time, I’m excited for what’s to come with him 🥰
I also gave a first time lesson to a parent of two daughters I teach, was so lovely to see her buzzing after .

Today so far I have sorted my two ponies out, helped with a vet visit and given a lesson. Still have a yard visit of feeding and haying some ponies and another lesson still to do.

I also rode Bungle Besr this morning, who schooled really nicely (apologies for the rubbish quality of pics, I filmed and then Screenshot these). One thing I will say tho is always be aware that no matter how long you’ve been riding, or how experienced you are, there is always a possibility that you may fall off! That is what happened to me!! First time in YEARS I’ve fallen off but Bungle caught me out…..when I went to leave the school, on a long rein, chatting to others at the yard, my coat on the fence flapped!! Bungle thought he was going to die and so spun and went sideways leaving me to go out the side door! 🙈 let’s just say I don’t bounce quite as well at 40 than when I was 20!! 🤣 all ok tho and laughed it off!
