Today’s Puppy FriYAY Star is Toby.

Toby Bean is a lovable five-month-old chihuahua who enjoys spending time outside any chance he gets. He’s always by his mommy’s side, giving sleepy cuddles & playing with his uncle Peanut.

He joins mommy at work (.enhanced.esti), serving as the offices’s emotional support puppy - a role the clients absolutely love!

Full of energy and always eager to be center of attention, his big ears never slow him down.

Fun Fact: Toby is actually Canadian! He stole my heart at a puppy yoga class in Toronto, and I just knew we were meant to be together.

Toby is the sweetest little boy and brings joy to everyone he meets. I am so happy to call him mine.

Today’s Silver Paws Sunday Star is Snowball.

Snowball is a nine year old white German Shepherd. When we got him, he was the chunkiest puppy and threw up on me on the ride home!

Snowball truly lives up to his name! When it snows, you cannot even shovel without him trying to get the piles dumped on him! Let alone without throwing some for him to catch.
And when the snow melts? It’s bubble time!

Despite how much he loves water: frozen, soapy or hose; this big 100lb baby hides anywhere possible during even the lightest of rain. The calmest of wind, the smallest of puppies. Snowball is a big scardey cat!

Today’s Silver Paws Sunday Star is Gunner.

Gunner is our frenchie, he just turned 9 in June. He was my husband’s dog when we met but now he’s definitely more of my dog.

In 2019 Gunner suffered from IVDD, he lost use of his back legs and couldn’t walk. Luckily we had a great referral to a veterinary hospital in Guelph, Ontario. They were so amazing and performed a surgery on him, we did physical therapy and acupuncture with him and he was able to walk again.

Gunner lives with his fur sibling Stella. He loves everyone he meets and everyone loves him. He would lay out in the sun all day if we’d let him. He’s the sweetest and I love his frenchie snorts.

Today’s Rescue Story features Koda.

Koda is a 4 year old beagle/terrier mix. I rescued him when he was 7 weeks old from a farm in St. Louis, MO.

When Koda was born, his mom lived on a farm and my cousin found out that the farmer who owned the mother was not going to take care of her litter of pups. So she stepped in to rescue them. That’s how I found Koda, and I brought him home in July 2020.

He has lived in four states: Missouri, Indiana, Washington DC, and New York. Fun fact: Koda was a sorority dog at Indiana University, living with myself and seven sorority sisters.

Koda’s favorite activity is to swim, specially for fish. He loves to sleep and cuddle. He’s a happy and healthy boy.

SILVER PAWS SUNDAY

Today’s Silver Paws Sunday Star is Oscar.

Oscar is an eight year old Australian Shepherd. He has no health issues (knock on wood), and is the best boy ever.

We got him after losing our first family dog who lived for 16 long years! We were heartbroken and missed the presence of a dog in our house.

He loves to play frisbee, loves herding, going on hikes, and being active. He’s my best friend and loves meeting new people.

In February 2023 he received his SPCA therapy dog certification and we have been traveling all around WNY to bring smiles and happiness to the less fortunate. He’s the best boy out there and just loves being part of anything that’s going on around him.
