Today’s Puppy FriYAY Star is Teddie.

I know it’s a boy’s name, but Teddie is a girl. She is a Eurasier just like her brother Oso.

Her favorites are running around the house playing with Oso and Mali (short for Malta which is the street we found her on-she is our cat that we rescued from the streets of Allentown).

Teddie loves playing in the snow with Oso, loves to eat beef liver, chicken and bully sticks. We are seeing more of her personality now and she is the sweetest thing ever-always wants to be near us.

We are part of a fun little Eurasier community here on Instagram and there’s one other family in the area with Eurasiers (at least that we know of). We had been wanting to meet for awhile and her 2 Eurasiers had puppies….so now we have one of them! Teddie!

Eurasiers are the sweetest most gentle and sensitive breed. I’m so happy we found them! She’s been the perfect addition to the family!

Also, since oso means bear… their names are now “Teddy bear” together.

SILVER PAWS SUNDAY

Today’s Silver Paws Sunday Star is Fred.

Fred is an eight year old pure bred fawn Boxer with some brindle. We got Fred in 2016, and also have his sister Maize from the same litter. They are both related to a beloved boxer my husband got in 2007, Louis, who has since passed.

A family member joking suggested Meatball for his name but it actually describes him to a T. Not sure how to explain, but he’s just such a meatball. He loves laying by the fire in the winter and finding all the sun spots during the summer.

Fred’s health has been quite the opposite of his sister Maize, in 2017 he got out of his crate and ate part of the Christmas tree (the kind that is pre lit) He was recently neutered for an enlarged prostate that has since decreased since surgery in November. He’s dealing with an ulcer in his eye that has been healing nicely.

He loves going for walks and standing near the highchair for any dropped food at dinner time.
