Roadie is 8.5, and stepped into the Veterans Ring for the first time at NACA at the beginning of June. Roadster had a grand time - he hasn't seen the inside of a conformation ring since he was 7 months of age (when he finished his Canadian Championship), but he didn't miss a beat!!

He and Adrian were a striking team in the Veteran Group Ring. The boy has such tremendous reach and drive, he is not an easy guy to keep up with! 💨💨💨

Theia had a great weekend at Erie Shores KC!

Theia started the weekend off with a bang and wins the Chinese Crested Club of Ontario Specialty and to top off the weekend was awarded a big Group 2nd at the Toy Dog Club of Ontario! Thank you judge Randy Garren for both wins!

She also made the final cut at the best of Specialties late Sunday night!

Beyond proud of her accomplishments thus far. Thank you Rebecca for loving, showing and training her to perfection!

In limited showing last year (4 weekends plus 1 day) Tacori managed to make it to number 5 doberman, and number 2 female doberman Canada.

We are very excited to officially announce our 2 black boys out of Ultra x Sage born August 21st!

Not only are Ultra and Sage both gorgeous and from outstanding pedigrees of producers, they also both have beautiful longevity in the generations behind them!

The Doberman Pinscher Club of America has a longevity program where they recognize dogs that have lived to be 10 years of age or longer by awarding 'Longevity Certificates', LC stands for 'Longevity Certificate' the number is the age, and a 'D' or an 'L' at the end defines whether the dog was Live or deceased when the certificate was issued (E.G. LC-10L means the dog was awarded a certificate at 10 years while still alive). A 'BFL' is 'Bred For Longevity' and a '1' behind means both parents were awarded longevity certificates (BFL-1), while a 2 means both parents and grandparents were awarded longevity certificates (BFL-2).

Both boys are vWD clear, both are available to the right home. Please PM or email [email protected] with an introduction of yourself, we will not respond to “how much” messages.

Taken from us much too soon, Jolie, has succumbed to her long fought battle with cancer on September 20, 2023.

Jolie was one of the most brilliant, passionate, kind and strongest woman I’ve ever known. She had a sharp mind, and when appropriate, a sharp tongue. She was strong in character, strong morally and ethically. She faced adversity with grace, beauty and perseverance he, she faced far more adversity than anyone should ever have to in their lives. She loved her family and her Doberman’s and Crested’s above all else.

Jolie loved nothing more than just being with her family. Gathering around a fire, having a drink, laughing and telling stories. It was one of her favourite things in the world, sitting there enjoying the moment and cherishing every memory being made.

Jolie was the heart and founder of Janterra/Avid Doberman’s and Chinese Crested’s, with the unwavering love and support of her husband, Ken and daughter, Adrian her side every step of the way. She was a true gift to the Doberman breed - she had a keen eye for structure and an amazing memory for pedigrees. Together we built a beautiful kennel with exceptional type and consistency in limited amount of breedings. Jolie loved puppies, loved raising puppies, watching them develop personalities and become valued family members. She gave many families the greatest gift of all - a Doberman to call their very own.

Jolie encouraged more folks in the breed than she will ever know. She helped people find their path and helped guide them along their way. There are people who live and breathe the Doberman breed because she taught them to appreciate her passion, and she helped them to achieve success.

Ken and Adrian will continue on with the Avid name and continue to make her proud.
