Paczki doing his thing!
This cool collie is Paczki. He is a Logan and Lizzie puppy - he was named Noah when we had him. Look at him go! Thankful to Ellen for sharing this update with us! Agility looks like so much fun and we sure are proud of this team!!
Cher is so playful!
Comin’ in HOT!
What life is really like with a puppy! We love our Cher Bear!
Cher wants to play with Willie!
Looking for a collie who has been socialized with cats? Cher and Willie love to play ❤️ Willie is such a tolerant kitty - the puppies are so lucky to have him! Cher is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and ready for her next adventure! She’s also very snuggly and loves to be held. She is also patient enough to snuggle on my lap while we watch tv in the evenings. Hoping her forever family finds her soon so she can start adjusting to her new life ❤️
Cher ❤️
Cher is still looking for her forever family! She’s a beautiful puppy with a sweet temperament! Learning her name too! Lovely pup!!
Barky, barky!!
How do you know puppies have woken up from a nap? Oh, they will tell you! No worries, they will definitely tell you!! 😂🐾🐾
Panda meets Willie
We love this stage! Puppies are 6.5 weeks and the perfect speed for the cat to still be interested in socializing with them. In about a week, Willie won’t be too thrilled about being chased by 9 puppies who want to wrestle! But for now, collie puppies learn that cats are cool 😎
Logan JR loves his chest rubs!
Logan Jr. was trying out some soft biting on my toes and fingers so we proceeded with some gentle correction and redirection with chest rubs! If he’s anything like his dad, which I think he will be, he’s going to be someone’s prince charming!
When you have a tender heart puppy, you give them all the soft love you can while they learn along the way. Letting them know that everything is gonna be ok ❤️🐾 Heather is figuring out all the things and sometimes she just needs a snuggle break!
Oliver tells all about it!
This little guy is so adorable and turning into quite a character!
First bowl of milk
When the milk is so good you just can’t stop the shivers!!
Tod’s first leash practice
Tod…what can I say? He’s a natural ❤️
In unison
Tod and Gavin perform as one! Eyes on the prize, boys!
Quick training with the pups
Even on Thanksgiving Day, we work on our skills! I’ve been asked a few times, “How do you raise and train a group of puppies?” And this is how. You just do it, every chance you get! Any time is a good time to teach your dog! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Puppy snack time!
Oh, nothing to see here, just a few puppies enjoying their individual snacks and jamming out to music! These guys are building their sound tolerance and becoming party animals at the same time 😂
Loud noise check
Do they startle when they hear a loud noise? Don’t we all? The question is…Do they recover from it or do they run away scared? See for yourself how the puppies reacted to the dropped food bowl. Let me tell you, it’s louder than this video shows. And this is why we follow puppy culture protocols. Trying our best to make sure your puppy has the best chance at being his/her best self!
May as well put this on repeat because now that they have found the stairs there is no way to un-find the stairs! 😂
We are being mindful of their developing joints while also encouraging them to be brave! It’s a tough balance when the stairs are so FUN!!
We’ve been asked many times
“How are your collies with cats?”
Rioux has always been interested in cats and wants to play. The reaction of the cat plays a role in the harmony between your collie and your cat.
Do your cats and dogs get along?
Look at Theo strut! He’s so handsome ❤️ Theo is a Logan & Giselle pup from their first litter 🐾🐾
We were given a gift of training today! Kris was working on perch and teaching Hudson about rear awareness. Hudson and I both learned some new things and we had a great visit! Thank you for taking time out of your day to come visit and teach! I am excited to continue working on what you’ve taught us!
When recall is on point 💅 🐕 ✅
These two took off after a forest animal this morning. They were out of sight but not out of earshot. I could still hear them rustling around in the woods but I could not see them. I let them have their fun but when it was time to go, I called them. And they came running!
I never thought recall like this was achievable. But I was wrong! Pete taught them the whistle, “Let’s Go!” is my cue, and my dear friend Sarah told me to always keep a treat in my pocket! Combine those three and here we are with excellent recall ❤️
1. Whistle
2. Give cue (if needed)
3. Treat (ALWAYS keep treats in your pocket!!)
These two don’t need a treat to do this anymore but I still like to reward them when they are good doggies!
