What do you think about this menu ?... it's called " Todd Mann g*i " ( Thai chicken cake ).
Authenticly way Thais use white fish ... but those type of fish not available in USA.

Then I just substitute with grounded chicken that added red curry paste and chopped lime leave , chopped green bean , Thai holy basil leaves and some original Thai seasoning.

Shape the dough into round pieces then deeply fried ... has sweet cucumber sauce for dipping. If you would like to try this menu please feel free to put in comment.

In Asian family back then ... father was
a provider & dominated of the household... he had to work all day long ... mother would be the one who take care children & house.

If the children needed something... they would asked mother to pass the massage to father. In some case ... the mother would give father a hint via the foods she served on dinner.

" Son in law eggs "... would be oftenly served to father ... when their daughter was old enough to get marry... or she met the man that want to build future together.

The hard boiled eggs that deep fried until the surface of its egg get crispy... then the gravy is made from tamarind juice , brown sugar , fish sauce and crispy chopped shallot.

** still have no idea why this menu called that way.... I just pass along the story that I were told by grandpa ...

Customer who has to work in Portland called me few days ago.

Customer : Kate this is Phil... I ordered padthai shrimp at food truck here. It's cost me $ 15.00 and has only 3 small shrimps. I totally don't believe it.

Kate : well.... because of cost of living over there is higher than McMinnville.

Customer : I really miss your padthai ... only $12:50 and have 9 big shrimps 🍤. How could you done that ?

Kate : ( laughing 😃) .... because it is Kate ... I can do what ever I want .... you order meats you get meats. BTW ... my new hours open until 6:30 pm.

Customer : Nice !!!! ... now I can get your padthai after work.

*** has to give credit to my lady landlord who so kind to me on rental fees ... that is why I could make big portion meals for customers at this price.
