He is easy to handle and has a good mind. He is broke to ride but doesn't know anything fancy. He's still learning and very willing to please. Let me introduce you to your next partner! “Shorty” is one you don’t find often. He is as tall as he is wide - standing at a height of 14.1 HH and built like a tank. He is not only gorgeous and elegant, but also gritty and full of determination. He is perfectly sized for any type and size of rider & is safe for all ages! He may be little, but I can assure you that Shorty has a heart the size of Texas.

Shorty has been there done that horse. He is an amazing trail horse - incredibly sure footed as he strives to keep his rider safe under any circumstances. He will walk up and down steep hills, through water, rocky terrain, down the road, and over train tracks. Not only is he a dream on the trail, he would also excel riding on the ranch & the arena! Shorty has an excellent one-handed neck rein, will move willingly off your leg, pick up both leads

Shorty has been exposed to farm machinery, equipment, road traffic, cattle, dogs, kids - you name it. He has been my 2 year old daughters’ go to, to go and pitter-patter and love on - and he absolutely adores all the attention!

A big baby and loves to play. Stands good for everything we have done with him so far. Loves to be brushed. He has never been around other horses so he is amazed by all the horses here and just wants to go play. He is broke to ride and rides very well for his age. Would be perfect for dressage or similar discipline. He Carrie's himself beautifully and holds himself high !!! Has an old scar on his front left hoof but does not affect his soundness in any way. He appears to be completely sound in every way. You don't see horses like him anywhere !!! Very stunning sweet boy !!!

Rides and drives.
Has been a casual/trail ride type lately.
Lead, load, tie, bathe, you name it, he's fine.
Old man personality. Gets along good in the pasture.
Leave him for months and hop back on, he's the same horse.
Traffic, dogs, water, logs, bridge, nothing really scares him.
Does need some joint maintenance.
Can get a tiny bit sour, but never does anything silly and a little leg sets his mind back on track.

Mainly used as a trail horse, but is happy to take some turns around the arena as well. I do not know if she has had driving/training experience.
To be 100% honest I have spent more time in the hospital/ ER/urgent care than I have out in the last couple years.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to put a bunch of flourishes on her due to the ever hastening downward spiral of my own health (WHICH IS THE ABSOLUTE ONLY REASON SHE'S EVEN UP FOR CONSIDERATION). With my health as it is, I have not been able to ride anywhere even close to as much as l'd like. Thankfully that never seems to phase Mae; it doesn't matter if it's been an hour, a day, a week, or a year, this girl is the same horse each and every time I crawl in the saddle. Mable does well at moving off the leg and does a bare minimum neck rein; there will be times that you will need to administer your power steering.
Mae is your perfect unicorn husband horse. A great horse to just hop on and hit the trails (especially if you enjoy taking your time to enjoy the scenery). She is a go along to get along type of girl; not a great leader just due to the fact that she's incredibly lazy. If you put her in the lead your trip time will definitely extend but can keep up if behind the lead. With a good pair of bumper spurs she'll move out for you but quickly resumes her latent pace.
Mable doesn't particularly care about having boss mare status unless it's time for feed; she can be a bit pushy if she feels she may not be receiving the lions share. Mae can be very aloof when it comes to personal interactions/ joining up. Whether it be you or other horses in the pasture; it's honestly just due to the fact that she really couldn't care less.
Mable is in great health, diamond hard feet, completely sound, easy keeper.

She has been rode by all ages. Super easy to ride, no spook, great handle, will go anywhere you point her. She gets along in mixed herd. Very easy to catch, loads and hauls great. Has been lots of miles on trails, has done a few playdays and ranch sorting. She is so cute, good with farrier.
